I went in to David's Bridal to find a mother of the bride dress. Two women were at the front desk never asked if they could assist me in any way. The women must of had a lot of catching up as they continued to talk. I looked for a few minutes but didn't see anything interesting. The employees must not work on commission because they acted like their conversation was more important than my needs. Sad

Mrs. Chang butchered my daughter's pageant gown two days before her pageant and refused to issue a refund. I took the dress to her on May 4th with a scheduled pick up date of May 16th. I paid for the alterations ($70) upfront, trusting her to do the job correctly. When I went to pick up the dress on the 16th is was not ready. She asked me to come back an hour later. When I returned, I noticed that the top later of the dress had been cut a full inch shorter than the lining and the lining of the dress, and it was cut unevenly all the way around the rest of the dress. She was not there for me to discuss my concerns and it took a full two days for her to return my phone call. My daughter's pageant is in two days and her dress is ruined. I requested a refund, as I have no confidence in her ability to correct her mistakes, and to cut the dress more would make it too short for my daughter's height and her heels. She told me to bring the dress and my daughter back in for her to fix it, but I again explained to her that to cut it would make it too short, we have rehearsal today and tomorrow, the pageant is Saturday so we don't even have time to come back to her shop for her to cut the dress again. Her husband got on the phone and told me she does not issue refunds. My daughter is devastated and I am upset beyond words. I will be taking Lucia's Bridal to court and DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE TAKE THEIR FORMALWEAR TO HER FOR ALTERATIONS!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!
Stay away ! This vendor forgets they are a discount bridal shop and wants to act like they are a bridal boutique from a popular tv show. They messed up our initial appointment which was for both bridesmaids and bridal. When we arrived with bride and 3 bridesmaids they were not going to let bride try on dresses even though numerous available rooms and a weeknight. Finally they did. We purchased bridesmaids dresses I bought two paid in full. I was told it would take 20 weeks for delivery so we will have to pay a rush fee for alterations. Now one of the dresses is in and rather than allowing me to wait for the other dress to come in so that both bridesmaids can fit at same time I was told I MUST pick up my paid in full dress which is only partial order within 7 days. What an inconvenience! Never again. Go to Carolina Bridal in Burlington much better service and selection for the price. bridal gown arrived in 2 weeks.
