I had to wait 5 months before I could donate because my tattoo was not a year old yet. Went back this past week since it had been long enough to come back, and I legitimately was not allowed to donate because I am a gay man. My sexual orientation has nothing to do with the plasma inside of my body. They profiled and discriminated against me, after being there for an hour and a half with all my vitals "great" as they had said. Yet I was not allowed to do it because of my sexual orientation. Disgusting place. Ignorance running amok.

They are faster than the other place in WS. They have chairs to sit in. The kiosks respond better to your touch. Only con is that the employees talk way too much and do not seem well supervised. The manager seems to just let them run the place on their own. I hear a lot of personal chitchat and see employees texting while working. I overheard a couple of employees running another employee down while I was being hooked to a machine.
Also they open the doors at a quarter to, and depending on who opens the door, decides how you go in. One employee just lets you in first come first serve, while another will let in the people sitting in there cars first and the others later. You never know whether to sit in your car or get out and wait. And the lady with the glasses will send you to the end of the line if she sees you standing outside near your car instead of sitting in it. People park in the handicap spots without handicap signs just to get closer to the door and they do not do anything about it. There system for people first thing in the morning needs to be fixed. They should set up an area for people to line up as they arrive. No more letting the people in cars go first. I saw people walk there or ride a bus and they should go sooner than those sitting in their cars since they arrived sooner.
Also, never show any kind of attitude, THEY WILL DEFER YOU!

The location is clean and more organized than most but the staff is unprofessional and hood. Please dont be pretty and go there, the female workers will find every reason in the book for you not to donate! The quality of customer service is the unacceptable. Not worth the stress!!!

Fail to give reasons why you cannot donate and won't let you use their phone to call your ride. Might as well put in their stupid wall you can't donate of you have any cuts of any kind on your arm.

The facility in WS is well run but needs appointments or a system that can be used by people waiting in the parking lot as they arrive so that the last to arrive are NOT the first to give plasma. I am often the first there and 20th in.

it is embarrassing when you are a donator who donates for the initial cause. However the employers make you feel as though you are the actual poverty case.
