After initially seeing the reviews I was very concerned when my older car was totaled by a driver insured by Integon. Fortunately it seems Integon is defunct as it's own company and operates under the umbrella of a larger company, National General. It turned out my claim process went as smoothly as I could have hoped. They didn't fight me and the claim representatives I spoke to worked on my side across the board. They were compassionate and while there were still some things they couldn't do to make it easier while awaiting a police report citing the other driver (due to state laws), they acted immediately once information was available. There were no tricks, no obfuscations, and no negotiations necessary to get the maximum value and support, including towing and a rental car for the full time to process the claim plus 8 more days after sending the check to get my transportation situation resolved.

Oh my God! Indisputably the most terrible and shady insurance company I have ever dealt with. My car was totaled by a driver who was insured by Integon. It has been over a month I still do not have a car and the insurance agents keep giving me the run around. When you call the company there are various number options to select. When you select to check on a claim it automatically hangs up on you. You literally have to call and act like you want to purchase insurance to actually get anywhere. I am beyond frustrated with this company. I will definitely be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. If you are involved in a collision with someone insured by Integon, be prepared to go through a long and a painfully tedious claims process.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my 45 year life . Their client who was high on heroin and hit my wife totaling her 2015 Chrysler 200. They would only pay $14,000 for a car that was worth way more than that. I should have obtained an attorney. I am telling everyone I know to avoid this company . The claims person also was a pain to deal with. She would hardly ever call you back unless you called her boss. To bad there is not a law in place to protect you from companies like this who new their client was a risk to insure in the first place.

This is an unscrupulous business that I have dealt with several times as a teen and as an adult. There methods for getting and keeping customers should be looked into and reviewed. They are the kind of insurance company that gives ALL insurance companies a really bad name! We called a month in advance to cancel our insurance so that we could consolidate and only have one insurance bill. They tried to tell us that in order to cancel we would have to drive almost an hour away and sign a paper. I told them to mail them to us and they said they couldn't mail them and that they couldn't cancel without us signing the papers. I guess she figured we would just keep the policy!! BAD TACTICS! BAD BUSINESS!!!

wrong Ph # recording stated # had been changed and then I called and told the operator I needed to speak with someone regarding and insurance certificate... she transfered me... the girl answered the ph and said .. you have reached to claim's department. ! I asked her where she was located she said the PHILLIPINES!!!! I will tell you HOW GMAC can do better..
