Today I went to Store #3516 located at 3325 Robinhood Road, Winston Salem, NC, 27106 because I needed to get a vaccination and their Minute Clinic was the closest CVS location that offered vaccinations.

I arrived a couple of minutes before 2:30 PM. By the time I entered my information into the kiosk, it was 2:35 PM. The screen said that my wait time would be 36 minutes. I saw the sign on the door stating that they were at lunch, even though it also said that the lunch hour ran from 1:30 to 2:30 PM.

A little after 2:40 PM a lady who appeared to be the doctor, nurse, or perhaps a PA unlocked and entered the clinic door. She didn't acknowledge me or the 2 women who were ahead of me - not a "hello", "sorry I'm late", "I'll be with you soon", or anything else. Finally, at 2:53 PM she came out and changed the sign on the door from Lunch to seeing patients. A minute or 2 later she called the first patient back.

At 3:20 PM [I had now been waiting 45 minutes] I went to look at the kiosk screen. The medical person was with lady #2 and the screen indicated that my wait would be another 18 minutes. 1) that would have put me an hour and 8 minutes waiting, 2) I had a 4:00 o'clock appointment nearby, and 3) I no longer had any confidence in the reliability of the information I was getting, so I left.

I felt a complete lack of concern for me or my business from this person. I have and will continue to use other Winston Salem CVS locations for pharmacy and OTC purchases. But I will never visit this location again for the clinic, pharmacy, or front of the store.
