I am a blue collar company that does $250,00.00 a year. I am able to travel around parts of the world. My son came in to speak to me and a few other in a tank top when temperature had been in the 90's. My son is in his 20'. He has tattoos. Meanwhile a woman comes up to us and said a coat is required or something to that effect. My son was leaving anyway and I did not press it. I did not like a restaurant gives me dress code requirements. We were not muddy, not obnoxious or loud. Beware of their dress codes? I have other nicer restaurant I can visit.
The very best barbecue in Winston-Salem, Lexington, or any other place on this earth. Prices are very reasonable.
Wait time kind of long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We waited for over 45 minutes for our food. When it finally arrived mine was not right. I asked the waitress to take it back and she said "I wouldn't do that. They will take even longer and it probably still won't be right." So, I decided to keep it and eat it anyway. We spent over 2 hours, after we were seated, and we got out as quickly as possible . We will NOT be going back.
Filthy, run down, ceiling, floors tables chairs falling apart. Take your chances eating here. Health depth rating 84%.
Everything was awesome my fiancé and i loved it, our first visit was on Sunday and we enjoyed the Sunday's special each!! Very nice space very attentive staff very cozy n shuttle atmosphere! Feels like a place a family would go enjoy a great meal
A below star rating. The management said customers are the problem. Employees are perfect. Could not get waited on. Waitress run away from female customers. Dirty floor and many tables. Not cleaned up . Had to ask for wait on, menu, silverware, drinks glasses, and napkins. Waitress said not want to write order down. WE said leave. She did it. Yelled and interrupt, talk back rude, rush to get rid of, tried to stick fingernails into skin of hand, repeat same questions, walk away while wait on. Had to ask to come back. Waitress stick finger in salad, gave us 3/4 ice in drinks. Not ask for. Gave meat half cooked. Told us we are rude customers. It was time to leave. Said not want to wait on us anymore. She wanted to eat a meal.Management yells at customers.
I love this place, will come back with family soon! It gets a busy at certain hours, but all worth the wait
We filled out a form for a catering for our wedding and received a voicemail from Tina. We then called several times with no call back. We decided to try another person on staff and left a voice mail for Jennifer. Still no call back from anyone. One last try, we left a message for the head chef. Still no call back. We really wanted to use them since the venue that is hosting recommended them and we really wanted the Barbecue package. Decided to go elsewhere, since we figured it was a possibility that they might not even show up with the food at the wedding. Sorry for the one star, but we called and called and it just seems like no one really cares or wants our business...
One recent Thursday evening, my son and I made 2 trips to your restaurant. Our First and Our Last!!!. I live near your place and we thought we would try it out. We arrived something after 7PM and I was surprised at the small crowd. 6 at the bar and only 1 table. We made table 2. Later a 3rd table arrived about an hour later. We both had the $5 Classic Burger special 1 with FF and 1 with chips, and soft drinks. Because we ordered soft drinks and the special, I felt we were pre judged by the waiter to be cheapskates and wouldn't be very big tippers. Quite the opposite. Servers work very hard and when they do the job right I tip 25% or more. I have been in the food service industry for many years and currently a food service consultant. I understand how an under performing food server can be. His mistakes were simple. Remember there were 2 of us at the table. The server had to ask which one of us had the chips. He also forgot the ranch and ketchup I asked for. When the kitchen added mayo to my son's burger after requesting specifically no mayo, he commented that he told them "No Damn Mayonnaise". He returned the plate and got the error corrected without the first apology. He obviously doesn't pay attention to his customers. Also my son (when he went to the restroom) noticed the server was eating something from a soup bowl that was sitting in the plate pick up window. This young man would not work for me and has no place in this establishment either. The food was barely mediocre. The "fresh cut" chips were not hot at all, nor my son's fries. The "cooked to order" (Medium) burgers were dry and not nearly hot enough to have just came off of the grill. Neither of our burgers seemed fresh and if you call this stuff "certified Angus" they are certainly getting ripped off. This business might be better if you had someone in the restaurant paying attention. I saw no one who appeared to be in charge. I hope the next tenant knows how to operate a restaurant. BTW, I sent a similar email to the comment section with no response. I do not want anything free. I just want someone to acknowledge.
