Don't need a star took me 40 minutes waiting and never got my order so I ask for money back don't recoment no body art there
HORRIBLE SERVICE! Rather than provide service, the wait staff was too busy texting and talking to customers at the bar. I waited 45 minutes and still no food. However, 6 to 8 people that came in after me were served. I was going there 2 to 3 times per week, but no more. The service and response to customers is HORRIBLE. Also, here are the links to the last 2 inspections, as of the date of this review, performed by the Forsyth County Health Department. I stayed loyal to this place even after the second time it was sold but tonight was the straw. I put up with surly staff and tiny cheese dip servings for the carnitas, which I love. However, tonight my food came covered with grilled onions and no warning on the menu. I do not like onions. When I said something, my waiter said at least I knew and could order it without onions next time. Really? I'm sitting there instead of at the fabulous Italian place down the sidewalk and that is the response I get? They took my plate and brought me another, or at least that is what I initially thought. They had taken my plate into the back, removed as many onions as possible, and then brought the plate back to me. My reasoning for never going back is this- can you imagine what they used to remove those onion pieces as quickly as they did? I can, and all I can see are their fingers in my food. I could taste the onions with the first bite of the returned food and ate no more. I did move the meat around a bit and found lots of leftover onions. Gross. Never again.
This restaurant was terrible. The floors didn't look as though they had ever been cleaned..the waiter was unfriendly and I could barely understand him..the enchiladas were not good and were small. The beans and rice were good..will not go back again..
Tried this place twice, both times a bust. Today's lunch was really bad. Ordered taco salad w/beef received chicken. Sent it back and received beef but salad bowl was full of fat and water. Salad veggies are soggy and mushy. Had to get manager involved for drink refills. Serving sizes were much smaller than last time. Waitress was very rude. There won't be a third time.
This place is a hidden gem. I love taqueria food and they have some of the best al pastor, carne asada, and carnitas tacos anywhere. Try everything because they make great tortas, burritos, gorditas, and sopes. It looks like a hole in the wall but really this place is a local secret. It's close to campus so bring your student ID for a discount. Cheap, great mexican food. The best I've had in Winston-Salem, and I've had them all. Go here if you appreciate authentic taqueria food.
Great atmosphere and everything you'd expect from a good quality mexican restaurant. More Flavors of salsa than anywhere else too. Drinks are free before 2 o'clock, which is a rare treat also. One of my favorite spots to come feast.
I love this place! just went for the 1st time last month and they are now on my speed dial for take out, the Fajitas are fantastic and so is their salsa. def. give this place a try :)
My Wife and I used to love this place. We have been at least a dozen times over the past two years. We found out yesterday that all their rice is cooked in chicken broth (including the rice on the vegetarian menu). I brought it to the owner's attention and she didn't care. We will not be going back and I urge all vegetarians to boycott a place that has no regard for our dietary decisions.
