The best bundt cakes everrr! Super moist!
Always fresh foods and friendly service. They also have a good variety of old fashioned baked goods.
Their freshly made honeybuns are absolutely amazing! Especially when they first come out and the icing is melting on top.
Products suck, they taste old and outdated.
Super helpful, boards and plastic containers were just what I needed at the time and the price was awesome!! I make a 30 minute trip to get my supplies here and will continue to do so. Love this little place!!
I have been looking for a special kind of candle for my granddaughter's 13th birthday that I haven't been able to find. I checked here when visiting W-S. When I couldn't find it here either, I asked the sales lady if she knew of a candle store that might have a bigger selection. She said no sharply. I told her what color I was looking for and she said no sharply again and asked had I looked "over there" at the number candles. I told her it was for a 13 year old and she wouldn't like the numbers. I asked if she knew if Yankee Candle carried small tapers? She seemed upset with me and said "No, I don't know what Yankee Candle's got." I got part of the way out of the door and saw something else I wanted to look at. Since the bells on the door rang and the door closed, she thought I was gone. Then she said to someone else that was in the store, "What does she think? How am I supposed to know what Yankee Candle has?" The attitude in her voice was very rude and not at all nice like most cake decorator people are.
We went to The Cake Plate to make and design our wedding cake and they were outstanding to work with. Our cake turned out looking fantastic and the guests loved it. They said it was one of the best cakes they had ever had. I definitely recommend going with them for wedding cakes or just any kind of cakes. They prices are very reasonable as well.
Very helpful. I just called to find out what edible wax was and ask if they sold it for a "cake ball on a stick recipe" and told me there was no such thing (all wax is petroleum based and not meant to be eaten) and that the recipe calling for chocolate chips for icing was incorrect and told me what to use instead. She also gave the names of places I could go to buy it.
I was told of this place only to go in to see prices marked 3 to 4 times higher then they should be. They sell the same stuff as AC Moore, MIcheal's & Chef Smart and with the crafts stores they off 50% off coupons to get things even cheaper. They have a variety of things at KKM however your better off ordering ahead of time online. I would suggest they offer some type of discount rate for business owners.
If you want the ULTIMATE CAKE EXPERIENCE you have got to call "Shut The Cake Up" I did and couldn't have been more happier. Not only was the cake artistic in design it was also delicious. All I had to do was order the cake and they took care of the rest , it was set-up and delivered on time. I suggest if you want something different from the ordinary Grocery Store cakes or Cookie Cutter Bakeries call "Shut The Cake Up" Check out there page on FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Winston-Salem/Shut-The-Cake-Up/155717897793943
