I was right in the middle of entertaining company last weekend when our Thermador Range just quit working, right in the middle of dinner. I was so angry. We had to run half of the dishes over to the neighbor’s house to finish them. The next day I called My Appliance Repair LA and scheduled an appointment. They sent a tech out the next day. His name was Victor, nice guy. We showed him our Range. After examining it thoroughly he told us that the wiring harness for the range was burnt out and needed replaced, he said he could order the parts and have them in a couple of days. We gave him the go ahead and sure enough he returned in 2 days and fixed our Range. The final bill was very reasonable; the whole experience was very painless. That is what I like about My Appliance Repair LA; they are fast, professional, and affordable. What more could you ask for. That is why I use them, and why I recommend them to my friends.

The other day I was cooking dinner on my Amana 30-inch Electric Cooktop when all of a sudden there was a loud crack and I ran in the kitchen and discovered that the glass top of my Amana 30-inch Electric Cooktop just cracked and shattered over the right burners. There were chunks of glass all over my kitchen around my Cooktop. This seemed alarmingly unsafe. I was just thankful I had stepped out of the kitchen and that there was nobody else in the kitchen at the time. I tried to contact Amana. They left me on hold for nearly an hour. Then when I told them what happened they were very evasive, and tried to manipulate the conversation to make it look like it was somehow my fault that my glass cooktop exploded while I was in the other room. They said the soonest that they could schedule a repairman to come out and look at it would be in 5 weeks. I was shocked. I will never buy another appliance from Amana. At that point I called up My Appliance Repair Los Angles and scheduled an appointment within 48 hours. Their technician Vince arrived on time and took a look at our Cooktop. He said that this was not the first time he had seen an Amana cooktop do that. We talked for a little bit, and by the time we were done I had decided to get rid of that lemon of a cooktop. Vince recommended an Appliance Dealer nearby, and even got me a discount on my new Thermador Cooktop. I am so glad I called My Appliance Repair Los Angeles, because their technicians are honest, even when it costs them a repair. More companies should go back to honest business practices. I highly recommend this company
I love to cook. My wife and I spend a lot of time together in the kitchen. A few months ago we were cooking together in the kitchen. Our kids were coming over for dinner, and we were going all out on dinner. Halfway through cooking dinner our Maytag 36" Contemporary Stainless Steel Wall Mount Range Hood started making an annoying whiny high pitched noise. It was a really grating sound. I had to shut it off and open a window and turn on the fan. The next day I called My Appliance Repair LA, we used them once before and we were happy with the results. I was impressed that the operator was very helpful in assisting me in setting up an appointment when I was available. The technician arrived five minutes early and he seemed like a nice guy, clean and professional. He examined our Vent Hood and discovered that a piece of some type of packing material had gotten into the fan and it was wound in there tight and it was causing the fan to strain. It looked like it had been there for a while, but the stress it had put on the fan had eventually worn the fan out to the point where it was making that noise. He removed the material and the noise went away for the most part. He oiled the fan and it helped, but it still was not as quiet as it used to be. He said that the fan was worn out because it had that material stuck in it for some time forcing the fan to work extra hard all the time. I decided to just have him replace the fan outright. He told me he thought that that would be for the best. The repairman Donald scheduled a time to come back and replace the fan, and it has worked fine ever since. I was expecting to get hit with a big bill, but when Donald handed me the bill, I was really surprised at how reasonable the final bill was. My Appliance Repair La is a really honest company they have competent technicians and they do not overcharge you for the work they do. If you have an appliance that needs fixed in the Los Angeles area you should give them a call.
We have a Dacor Oven we purchased a few years back. We have had nothing but problems with it. I would not purchase another Dacor appliance. It was a couple months ago and we were having company over for dinner. We had spent the whole day in the kitchen cooking and prepping. Half way through baking the ham the oven door locked and would not open. The entire dinner was ruined. We were so upset. The next day I was ready to have the Oven replaced, but my wife talked me down, and we decided to give My Appliance Repair Los Angeles a call. The technician Trevor showed up on time, and we showed him the oven. After examining it he came to the conclusion that the thermostat malfunctioned and this led to the oven think that it had gone into self-cleaning mode which causes the door to lock and the temperature to shoot up. He fixed the thermostat and the oven has been working fine since, but I believe I am going to replace this oven as soon as possible. My Appliance Repair Los Angeles is a great company I have used them several times over the years. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and their prices are always reasonable. I would recommend them to anybody who needs an appliance fixed and does not want to spend and arm and a leg.
When my kids go back to school it seems like I am doing more laundry at the house than a laundry-mat. So a month ago my Amana 27 inch electric dryer went on the fritz and quit putting out heat, I needed it fixed right away. In just a few days in our house we can produce a mountain of clothes. I called up My Appliance Repair LA, my friend Sarah recommended them, she has used them I the past and was happy with their service. I gave them a call and set up a service call. The operator Stacey was very friendly and helpful, and worked with me to set up a time within 48 hours that they could send out a technician when I would be available. This was no small feat because I am very busy all the time. The Technician arrived and he was very nice. He looked at the appliance and gave me a very reasonable estimate for fixing the dryer. I was very happy to hear that he had read the notes that Stacey had taken and brought the parts with him that he need to repair my dryer. As busy as my life is I hate it when repairmen have to make several trips to your house to fix something. I gave him the go ahead and before you know it he had the dryer up and running again. I would definitely use this service again and recommend them to friends.
I purchased an LG Refrigerator model LFX8968 a few years back. We have had a couple of problems with it. The latest problem is the French door which holds the ice maker leaks all over the floor. The ice reservoir melts all the ice cubes together and jams the ice dispenser. Then the ice melts all over the kitchen floor. I called up My Appliance Repair Houston. I saw one of their ads online and decided to give them a try. I have only been living in Los Angeles for a couple of years and this is the first broken appliance I have had to deal with since moving here. I was surprised at how soon I got an appointment. Their technician Avery showed up Saturday morning. He was very friendly and he seemed to know what he was doing. He said that we would need to replace the Ice Maker, and he gave us his quote. I told him we were getting several quotes and that we would get back to him. He was very friendly and said that would be fine, and he left us his quote. Well we did get another quote, and it was completely the opposite experience. The other technician showed up an hour late. He was a young guy, and I did not get a good feeling about him at all. His estimate was really high, and he tried selling me a new refrigerator. He said his cousin could give me a really good deal on a new refrigerator. I could not wait to get rid of that guy. I immediately called back My Appliance Repair LA and asked for Avery to be sent out to do the repairs. He did a great job, and the quote he gave me, was exactly what he charged me. I would recommend My Appliance Repair LA to all of my people.
I purchased my DACOR Range PGR-30S LP in 2003. I have had a number of problems with it due to poor design. I one point I had to replace the control panel as well as a few other small parts. However, it has recently developed a gas leak rendering it temporarily unusable. The gas leak occurred in the top of the range. To fix it, you must take off the top burners to get to the leak and make a repair. That is above my pay grade. I am pretty handy, but when it comes to fixing a Range with a gas leak I would rather leave it to the professionals. I found a company online called My Appliance Repair LA. Their website was very easy to navigate and before you know it I had setup an appointment using my smart phone. The Technician George arrived early and he was a really smart funny guy. He showed me how the O-Ring on the burner was damaged and that was where the gas was leaking from. The O-Rings seemed pretty flimsy and they all seemed pretty worn, so I had him replace all of the O-Rings just to be safe. The price for the visit was very reasonable. I would definitely call these guys again. Great Job!
