Dr Johnson is great although it's not easy to get to see him -- sometimes have to wait several days. The receptionist on the other hand is rude and never returns phone calls. She always says the answering machine is broken -- it's been that way for several years! Wish she realized how badly she treats people -- don't think she'd like being treated that way! Decided to find another vet and found one who is super nice and so is his staff!

Dr. Johnson is an excellent vet, he really cares about your pets, and he is excellent at giving them shots without hurting them. Our pets are very comfortable with him.

But as the other reviewer stated, the receptionist is rude and uncaring. We tolerate it because Dr. Johnson is so good and our pets like him.

Save your money, time and frustration and go elsewhere! The middle-aged receptionist is extremely rude and Dr. Johnson doesn't seem to care at all. After
calling another vet in the area, I was informed without telling them about my situation that a lot of other people had switched from Quad-County in Windsor to them because of, "situations with their receptionist." It's such a shame that he would choose her be the first impression of his place of business. Moreso, it's such a shame that a lady in her 40's (if not 50's) hasn't learned a thing about being professional in the workplace. These people are extremely unhelpful and rude and uncaring.
