I had bought for plastic storage containers and picked up the wrong lids at the South Ridge Walmart. I went back to exchange and get the right lids but could not find my receipt. The Southridge Walmart was fine with me exchanging the lids and had me go to get the ones I needed. The Southridge Walmart did not have the right lids so I went back to customer service and shared that. They told me to go to a different Walmart and I could do the exchange there. So, I went to the Walmart on 73rd St. and immediately customer service told me they couldn't make the exchange because I didn't purchase the lids at their Walmart , but suggested that if I wanted to get the containers I could exchange both the containers and the lids. So, I went back to my car and brought in the containers and when I walked in, the customer service person was shaking her head no. She told me I couldn't make the exchange there cause I didn't purchase them there. I asked to talk to a manager. They brought over the front end supervisor who told me that they couldn't do it, however one of those front end supervisor said they would get the store manager. In addition, the manager wanted to know who I talked to at the other Walmart. I told Him it was someone in customer service with green hair. He was pretty rude and told me that that meant nothing to him. I told him I didn't know the person's name, but all I wanted was to exchange the lids. He told me they couldn't help me there because I didn't purchase them there. I told him if I had lied and said that I did would that make a difference and he said that they would first before they would let me exchange them they would check their video footage to make sure that I was actually in their store buying their containers. In the end, I left the containers that I was asked to go out to the car and get it we're definitely Walmart brand and left the lids. I will never ever shop at the 73rd St., Walmart again.

This company used to be my favorite place to shop until recently after I have seen numerous times how bad they treat their employees. Yes, you gain more business by "word of mouth", but you can lose that business just as fast by treating your employees like they are worthless. Allowing them to be verbally abused by the customers; that is manager's place to step in and take care of the problem. And as for the situation of no longer making up the schedules, but allowing the computers to make the schedules is just showing stupidity and laziness on the managements end. They need to fire these and get new management in.



selling broken cell phones at Walmart

Bought a cell phone here at Walmart, was having problems with it from day one. On day 10 the cell phone stopped working, got it disconnected and tried to return on day 16. They would not honor the return. $185 dollar cell phone that could even work for 10 days, doesn't even have a scratch on it just quit working!
