The Birthday Cake we just had for my sister was out of this world! after snooping around a little, i find out that the owners father was the originator of the Champagne cake here in des moines. thats the cake we had, honestly, it was the best. i can hardly wait until i go back to try some cupcakes! they looked delicious!

I ordered a half sheet birthday cake for my boy's 3rd B-day party and was totally disappointed. When I called to order the cake the girl told me that it would be a little over $40. When my husband came to pick it up it was $55. I ordered cream cheese frosting and it was the worse cream cheese frosting I ever had. There was no cream cheese flavor and I could still taste the sandy sugar in the frosting (as if it was not blended in correctly). The frosting was made with so much sugar that was all we could taste( the sugar). The cake was worse than if I had bought a box of pre-mix for $1 and baked it myself. The only thing that was done right was the nice fish drawing that the decorator did. The cake was so bad only three people had a piece and I had to throw the whole thing away.I only give this place one star for the decorator who did a nice job on the fish/fishing theme I requested. Don't waste your money on this place.
