My wife and I initiated our vehicle search via the Internet and were quickly connected with Jerry Clarke when it came time to visit the dealership. From the start, it was a amiable, low-key, professional experience in which we quickly got the impression that Jerry was listening to our needs and working very hard to show us multiple vehicles and models that would meet those needs... providing us with options and letting us formulate our decision. We got to drive several vehicles... Jerry explained the specific features of each one in relation to our needs and the experience of driving the vehicles became a hands-on "sales pitch". We appreciated the fact that we felt absolutely no "pressure", neither during our first visit to Malloy Toyota nor on a follow-up visit. After we made a decision to buy, Jerry orchestrated the paperwork process that was quick and completely "painless" after which he walked us through the dealership and introduced us to the people who would work with us for maintenance, parts, etc. With no exceptions, the people we met were friendly and we got a sense of an organization that was genuinely dedicated to customer service. Our experience thus far indicates that we will have a long, productive relationship with Malloy Toyota.
I bought a Camry from Kern Toyota back on 9/3. It has taken me awhile to post my review but I wanted to complete it as I had said I would. I was very pleased with the service I received on my initial visit back in August when I first took the car for a test drive. Scott was very prompt in assisting us as my son and I looked at cars on the lot. He was very quick to offer a test drive after listening to what I was looking for. I told him after the test drive that I really liked the car but had to wait until the end of the month in order to buy it. I never felt any pressure to buy the vehicle although Scott would keep in touch periodically over the phone. He acquired a vehicle in the color and style I was looking for and had it ready the day I came back. The purchase process of the vehicle was great. No long drawn out haggling back and forth. Scott informed me of all the extras but there was no pressure to take them. The financing and paperwork process was very expedient and not as I have encountered at other dealerships. I would definitely recommend this dealership and Scott. They made the buying process a breeze.
I discovered MalloyToyota while searching the internet for information on FJ Cruisers. I gave them my contact information on there website. Jerry Clarke, there internet sales rep, contacted me by email & we set up a test drive. Jerry was very informative & didnt try to sell me. He said stop back by if you have any more questions. There was absolutely no pressure. I came back a second time & asked about price. He gave me a price, I said thank you, & left. Again, no pressure. I researched the price he gave me & even went to another dealership near my parents house to compare. They said no way can we reach that price. Bottom line. Jerry was straight forward & honest from the get go. He gave me a fair price on my trade in & a fair price on the 2013 FJ Cruiser. I didn't need to haggle. I came back a 3rd time & bought the vehicle. After the sale was made, he gave me a tour of the dealership & when my vehicle was ready, he took the time to go over every feature with me. Just purchased a 2016 4Runner. Was exceptionally pleased with Trevor Hott, my salesman. After my initial visit I indicated there were other options I wanted to explore, without driving me crazy as most salespeople would he said he understood, but would appreciate a chance to earn my business. He stayed in touch over the next few weeks, but wasn't high pressure. I ended up returning to explore options and pricing with him, and we quickly arrived at a solution that worked well for both parties. Quality guy and I would highly recommend him if you live anywhere close to Winchester Virginia. WAY different than my experiences buying cars from dealers in the Northern Virginia area, where within five minutes you know a) you don't trust the person and b) the negotiations are going to be a nightmare. Worth the drive to deal with him if you are interested in a Toyota.
This was the easiest car buying process I have had-15th car (1st Toyota) in 20 years. I worked with Scott Henderson-he is friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. Readily answers questions, gives an honest answer, and knows about the Toyota brand (and many others). They let me take the car for a 1/2 day test drive, took care of all the paperwork before I arrived, and got me through the buying process in about an hour.Pricing was comparable to Northern VA dealers-slightly more, but much less hassle not having to drive down there and back. Plus there is something to be said for buying locally. I do feel like I can always go back to Scott if there is ever an issue.Dealership seems solid-have not used service yet, but finance (Roger) was easy to work with as well.
I have purchased a number of new cars from Malloy Toyota/Scion over the years, and each and every one has been a perfect experience with the utmost professionalism, respect, and attention to my needs and desires. This comes not only from my competent salesperson, Scott Henderson who is eager to please, but from the owner, Took Kern, Sales Manager, Scott Allamong, and Finance Manager, Roger. As well, I usually order accessories and come in contact with Kern's Parts Department and Staff who are exceptionally caring and efficient. I love the Toyota/Scion vehicles, and this family business continues to meet and exceed any expectation. For this reason, I can't imagine purchasing future vehicles from any other dealership.
This is our second new truck purchase with Jerry Clarke and Kern Toyota, and we wouldn't go anywhere else. The service is great, the people are friendly and when you need help they are there at the ready. When we had to sell our first truck due to a move overseas, Jerry was there to give us a great buy-back price. Upon returning from overseas he was there again to help us find an equally good value. We appreciate the low-key nature of the dealership, and the feeling we get that they are looking after our best interests. Buying a vehicle can be a stressful experience, but these are the guys who will make you feel confident that you made the right choice and got the best deal!
This was our first Toyota purchase and it was by far the best car buying experience my husband and I have ever had! Andrew Woodson (our salesman) was very knowledgable and did not pressure us in the least bit. We test drove 3 models (Prius V, Camry Hybrid and Camry SE) and spent a total of 4 1/2 hours trying to make a decision. When we came to a decision the dealership was scheduled to close but they did not try to push us out the door, both Andrew and Roger (finance manager) stayed with us until the paperwork was completed and we cleaned out our trade-in vehicle. My car broke down early in the morning and needed to find a vehicle. Since this wasn't planned I wasn't in a position to put more than $300.00 down, after filling out the form for credit online, I was contacted by Scott Riley when the dealership opened. Scott spent thr whole day working to get me a vehicle I could afford. Scott called me numerous times during the day to keep me updated on his progress and by the afternoon had found me a vehicle that I was more than pleased with. He also had the financing approved. I've never had anybody work this hard to find me a vehicle. Scott and Garth went way above and beyond.
Jerry was quite helpful,informative, and direct helping us decide options by clearly answering our questions. We chose him over Apple Valley because he answered our questions clearly and directly in a no-nonsense way. Even though we purchased 2 new Toyota vehicles from Apple Valley in the past 7 years, they seemed uninterested in our concerns and too busy to help us through the choices.
