HI ,EVERYONE THIS SHOP ACROSS FROM INDOCHINE ,SHE IS HELPFUL, MY WEDDING ON THIS WEEKEND .SHE ALTERED MY DRESS ONTIME AND TURNOUT VERY GOOD ,GOOD THING ABOUT HER PRICE FAIR EVEN RUSHJOB .WE NEED COME SEE HER ....
I took my outfits all over town but no one wants to work on it . I am very lucky to call this place. She is very helpful to work on my outfit. It turned out very beautiful. I would like to send all of my friends to see her if they need it.
The service here is horrible! From start to finish, the owner/seamstress was the rudest person I had ever encountered. Telling me that I looked like I didn't trust her and good luck finding someone else in town that did this kind of work better than her. I was in a rush so I gave her the business but I regretfully did so. I dropped off the garment on a Saturday morning, she asked me to return on Wednesday. This was a simple letting out of a garment and stitching the zipper. I returned on Wednesday and my shirt was sitting in the SAME spot I left it in. She then asked me to try it on, she eye balled the measurement and asked me to return to pick it up on Friday. I came back on Friday and there was the shirt- SITTING UNTOUCHED IN THE SAME DAMN SPOT I LEFT IT ON Wednesday! She then asks me to try it on so she can accurately measure me. I remind her that I need this ready by the next day (which has now been an entire week since I brought it to her) and she proceeds to tell me I'm rushing her and that I'm lucky she's not charging me more! (She already charged me $50 for something that should have cost no more than $15). She asks me to return to pick it up the next day at 2pm. I arrive at 2pm and this woman sees me get out of the car, grabs the shirt and begins to sow it AT THAT VERY MOMENT. The entire thing took her less than 5 minutes to do but this woman had me back and forth 4 times that week and completely wasted my time! On top of that she was so damn rude! I can only imagine that the other stellar reviews she has on google were done by her! I can tell by the way it's written because that exactly how she speaks. Anyway- do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your alterations. Do NOT give this rude woman your business. -signed an APALLED CUSTOMER

This was the WORST expirence I have ever had with an alterations company. I have been a loyal customer for over two years until now. I took a bridesmaids dress to have an inch taken off the shoulders. When I picked up the dress, the seam had been cut where the dress had rouching at the chest (which caused unraveling). While I was showing the owner, I also noticed a stain in the center of the dress. I brought both issues to the owner's attention and he became so irrate that he threw the plastic cover back over the dress and yelled, "I will do this for you again, but you put that stain on that dress! If not, you go somewhere else!" I know for a fact the stain was not there when I dropped off my dress. I could not believe he not only was irrate over me showing him and requesting he fix it but that he literally yelled at me. I decided to just leave with my dress. I now have had to take the dress to another alterations company. When I tried on the dress, I realized, Ms. Kim had taken an inch off each side in the mid section of the dress and not off the shoulders! I could not even zip the dress and the new complany confirmed the stain was alterations chalk. It should hopfully be removed during dry cleaning but now I have to pay to have the dress let back out and dry cleaned. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
Jae's Alteration Shop is now under new management. The new owners are very nice and strive on making their customers happy. I assure you the turn around time is much faster and you will be pleased with the work done.
When I started using this alteration shop I was pleased with the work and turn around time. In the last year I liked the work well enough to have spent 3,000.00 with her.Unfortunatly over the last 4 months things have changed. I took her 9 new suits to alter and 8 needed rework. She measured the sleeves correctly and gave me a rather far out completion date. When the date arrived, only 1 piece was ready fro pick up. It took her 3 more weeks to complete the alterations (sleeves, suspender buttons and cuffs) and non of the sleeves were done correctly, in fact they were all inches shorter thean they should have been. I am now into this horror 8 weeks and she still owes me 1 suit. The work was less than professional and the dates the materials were promised came and went. Jae is a pleasant woman but I think she sells snake oil.WATCH OUT
