I use option care for their enteral (feeding tube) supplies for years. Now they are not providing the supplies necessary. Their manager Nora was less then professional when I inquired on what is necessary to get the supplies needed. She said I should go to another DME company. WOW...switching DME companies takes a lot of time and effort to coordinate approvals for the necessary supplies. Amazing how horrible this company has turned out to be! They also have an option for having a dietitian see you at your home. But somehow after I started, I never saw the dietitian again. They tell you what you want to hear to get you to get your supplies though them, but it has to be only the supplies they offer. They will not do any special orders. They will not provide anything that is not on their formulary list. Beware! Even if you have been receiving the same supplies for years, they will stop.
This is the worst company to work for. They over work you and move you from client to client with no reason as to why. If a client harms you in anyway it's always your fault. The client can make stuff up and the company knows this client does it but agin it's your fault. Clients can call and make racist comments to you and company doesn't do anything about it. They say well this was our first client so that is how it goes and it's ok. They never talk to you as a person it's always by text. Most times they would have me working multiple shifts per day and night to the fact that I would have a client at let's say 10pm which is a total of 60 miles away, I would have to leave my house at 6pm and I would get there about 8pm which I would be close enough to the client home I would sleep in a gas station parking lot because I couldn't see to drive very well at night. And that way I wouldn't run in to ditches and other things but yet again no concern for my safety or rights.
Unhelpful and slow office staff: bad work ethic. Hard to reach any one to get help from. Never volunteer information or helpful suggestions. My original request was mishandled and I only found out because I called to check status. For an office whose services affects people's health, they are a little too careless.
