Terrific experience. It was so easy. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We dealt first with Craig Nelson who answered all of our questions before we even asked. He was very knowledgeable about the cars and options. I can't believe we made our decision so quickly. And we love our new Subaru Outback.
I had a great experience at Parkway of Wilmington. I went in to look at the certified pre-owned Outbacks and Foresters, because I was unsure of which model I would prefer. Marcus Diaz, my salesperson, walked me through the differences carefully explaining even the smallest details I had questions about. He was patient, understanding and not in the least bit pushy. I never felt pressured to make a decision or like I was being taken advantage of. The financing aspect went very smoothly and everything was laid out in an easy to understand way. I am so happy with my Subaru Forester and I will recommend Parkway of Wilmington to my friends and family.
It was finally time to replace my 12 year old SUV and I was not looking forward to the process. My previous two car shopping experiences were not good and probably one reason I kept my car so long. I did my research on what I wanted out of a new vehicle and narrowed down the list of contenders using various sites on the internet as well as collecting and reviewing brochures. Once I narrowed my list to 5 choices I started visiting dealerships.
From the first time I walked into Parkway of Wilmington I was impressed. The whole experience was totally unlike my previous ones. David, the sales consultant, was very knowledgeable and personable. He listened to what I wanted and provided both information and advice but in an informative manner rather than the pressure sales tactics that I had experienced before. It was about getting me what I wanted and NOT trying to sell me something on the lot from the inventory that they wanted to move quickly. David introduced me to other members of the Parkway team and I was quickly impressed with all of them and their demonstrated expertise in their various areas.
I did visit other dealerships and look at other vehicles but the car that met my needs and the experience interacting with the Parkway team made the decision an easy one. I took delivery of my new Subaru last week, one week ahead of schedule, and even that was a great experience. They took the time to go over all of the paperwork with me and explained everything in detail (line by line when requested) as we went through. David also went through all of the key features of the SUV including the navigation system, and even helped me register my phone on the Bluetooth system. While I was in the showroom I also had an opportunity to observe other sales consultants interacting with other customers. While I am convinced that David is the best it was clear that they all had the same personable approach. Maybe it is the Parkway way or maybe it is from the Subaru playbook but whichever it is they are doing it right.
I cleaned out the garage this weekend just in case we decide to trade in the wife's compact for a BRX in the near future. I normally do not write reviews but in this case I felt like the service I received warranted letting others know about it.

We enjoyed a great experience with an experienced salesperson, David Jones. We enjoyed working with him, with Jimmy Todd as well as the finance people, Skip and Tammy. They met our needs and were helpful beyond measure. This was our 2nd opportunity to work with Parkway of Wilmington and both times we have been extremely satisfied. We had our Tucson serviced each time at Parkway and were extremely satisfied with the Service Department also. We are very happy with this Dealership and cannot say enough good things about the wonderful people there. I'm going to be honest! This was the best dealer I've been to yet. Got my pre-approval online and talked with Leroy over the phone and I was in and out of the dealer in 30 minutes! Very kid friendly and wife friendly(wife hates dealerships) but not this one:) got the new 2012 elantra gls and love it!!!
My experience with Parkway was beyond a shadow of a doubt very good . Everyone whom I had contact with was very helpful and treated me with the utmost respect. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who wants to buy,sell or trade and feel sure they are getting the utmost in customer satisfaction.
I leased a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe from Parkway Hyundai in January 2010 and got an incredible deal. It's actually my second car from Parkway. After my 2 year Subaru lease ended, I decided to look at a new Hyundai Genesis Coupe. People ask me all the time about my car and they can't believe it's a Hyundai and they definitely can't believe the price for all the features I have. I make fun on my dad and how much he pays for his BMW and he doesn't even have heated seats. The sales manager, Dave, was quick to get me to the payment I needed and didn't harass me to sign up for anything I didn't need or want. Angie did my paperwork and I was in and out in no time. I would recommend that anyone looking for a new car in Wilmington give Parkway Hyundai a try. The biggest difference is their people and it keeps me coming back.
