Our ordeal at Papastavros Associates Medical Imaging was two and a half hours long. Don’t expect to get treated well if you’re a man or an Asian woman. I was treated rudely from the moment my wife was signing in. My wife’s impression was that technicians were serving patients of the same race (whites helping whites, blacks helping blacks); since she’s Asian, she was out of luck. Numerous patients who came in later than my wife were seen before her and left before her. The staff seemed annoyed when I inquired about my wife one and a half hours into our ordeal, although other patients were allowed to take friends with them into the consultation area. She left with two days of pelvic bleeding, and we suspect we got a possible airborne infection contracted during our two and a half hour ordeal. Bottom line: we will NEVER return to Papastavros again, and I urge everyone to stay away from their patient-hating business!
