Having been to many different bars in various cities across the country, I must admit that the Nomad Bar is a pretty awesome place. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was some really good music playing. People were really chill and my buddy and I headed over to the bar to grab some drinks. The bartender was really cool, got our drinks made really quick and didn't break the bank.
Ughhh! Don't waste your time! They don't want you there! My friends, my wife and I went here for the first time for a few drinks. We were made to f…
I literally had to yell to get a beer, the place was empty. The bartender was watching the basketball game. After waiting to get a beer, I yelled " excuse me, bartender!" The bartender continued to watch TV and just gave me a hand wave until the game she was watching was done. No wonder this place is empty on St. Patrick's Day!!
Food was good, service was to be desired. To the servers defense a party of 12 was seated after us, however he did not stop to,see how our meal was, no refills of drink while eating. Very disappointed.
Over priced food and drinks.$5.00 bottles of domestic beers.weird atmosphere. Better places in wilmington to eat and drink.
A place where Delaware hookers go to die. I swear the last time I saw that many C-section scars was at a lemaize class before my son was born. YIKES. Everyone here is a 40 something single mom type, not one girl attractive enough to get a lapdance at my friends bachelor party.we hastily got the hell out of dodge and had a real party at a more decent establishment. Prue Crap. Nuff said.
This was once a great bar. Now it has literally gone to the dogs. The food is deep fried and over priced.I love all animals, but not where i eat and drink. This place should be renamed - the PIT-BULL. Guard your little lap dogs. They don't require dogs to be on a leash.
Ughhh! Don't waste your time! They don't want you there! My friends, my wife and I went here for the first time for a few drinks. We were made to feel un-welcome from the second we walked in from the low-life regulars that frequent there. The bartender acted like we were bothering her just for asking for drinks. The bar was empty so it wasn't like she was busy. Plus she was yelling across the room to everyone. There was a man playing guitar who was quite good but you could hardly hear him from the loud conversations back and forth. I felt bad for the guy playing, they were so rude to him and he was paid by THEM to be there playing! My friends and I have all bar tended at some point in our lives. We r good tippers and know how you treat your patrons. This isn't the way to make money or stay in business. I wish i could have chosen NO STARS!
Wow..what a cozy nice bar..exposed brick warm wood and cool lighting...Live entertainment drinks weren't watered down..friendly service..it would be nice if they had a finger food menu..a place I definitely will be visiting again..
