I am continuously impressed with this daycare. My children have attended this location for over five years. It is well-run, clean and safe. The director, Ms. Clara is a sweet, yet talented woman who takes her job seriously, but always seems to be smiling. She has surrounded herself with equally capable staff; Ms. Bonnie, Mr, Jason and Ms. Ellen are the best influences in my kid's lives. Very aware that this is a competitive industry, with staff often job hopping and becoming disgruntled - I read their social media reviews of COA with skepticism. I have watched this business operate for many years and am very confident in my five-star rating. If you are looking for a daycare that is convenient, well-run and treats your children with love, than look no further than COA Wilmington.

When I walked in there were about 5-7 heavily active kids and a little rough bouncing around in such a small living room sized space. "How would my barely sitting up unassisted infant be in this environment? Would she be safe and monitored?" The answer to the latter would be probably not based on the context of the rest of the meeting. The staff member I spoke with asked if my 5 month old was on solids, I mentioned that I had been interested in the philosophy of baby led weaning and that was a trigger it seemed. She callously cut me off to say: "This isn't the place for you. My babies are feeding themselves by 10 months." Which, independence is cool, so as I tried to let her know that BLW wasn't something I was ride-or-die passionate about and could be flexible - she just switched to an entirely aggressive demeanor. When she asked about her napping, I told her they're short cat naps of 20-30 minutes at times (since she's going through a mental leap with a longer 1-2 hour nap in the afternoon, plus she sleeps through the night from 930pm-730am) she again cut me off with a disapproving look to crassly ask if my pediatrician "talked to me about that" because she wasn't napping enough. Before I could even say anything about the influence of the leaps or how her napping schedule fluctuates, she cut our interview and said "I'm just gunna be honest, this isn't the place for you." It seems they wanted an infant who could feed themselves and nap for most of their time so the staff could take a hands-off approach. Either way, her demeanor was incredibly rude. I could barely answer any of her questions before she cut me off and practically threw me out. It was seriously baffling and felt very much like a personal attack (this could just be my first time mom sensitivity.) I just wouldn't recommend this place to anyone based on how I was treated; pretty much belittled and demeaned. There was zero attempt at understanding, patience or even listening.
In 4 years of our children attending Little Folks Too we have never once had a complaint or concern. From infants through pre-k, the staff all cultivate a culture of kindness and caring. Our children love their teachers and have learned and developed many skills at a rapid pace while learning in a hands-on environment. Our family loves Little Folks Too!
I do not recommend this daycare/preschool to anyone. They don't do anything they ask you too. They allow sick teachers to care for your children and upon signing up they ask you t create a pin number to sign your child in and out but don't even use them. I have a 3mo old son and they don't use his mittens during his naps to protect his face. They don't store or thaw his breastmilk properly and they don't use his nasal drops. They always mix up the children's belongings, putting them in different cubbies. Also my son had a rash on his neck because I believe they just prop a bottle up on him and allow the milk to sit on his neck when it spills. They are very careless.
Absolutely The WORST Daycare EVER. As Soon As You Walk In It Smells Like Dirty Diapers . The Staff Is Rude. On Ocassions I've Witnessed Teachers Not Only Yelling In Kids Faces But Also Pushing Them. They Leave Children Unattended . One Day They Left An Infant Upstairs And Had No Idea She Was There . Everyone Was In The Kitchen Downstairs And When The Mother Of The Child Came To Pick Her Up She Was Told That The Child Wasn't There . However She Was Upstairs Alone . Only Person On The Entire Floor . They Also Left Another Baby Screaming It's Head Off In A Crib In A Room Alone . Also Their Front Door Doesnt Lock So Anyone Is Able To Just Walk In .
As a career nanny, Instarted to get skeptical of agencies and people jumping at the chance to offer you employment. Well, because of ABC Nanny Source--specifically Nichole E-- I was able to be set up with a wonderful family not far from my house. The hours, type of job, and type of family were all things that ABC Nanny Source took into consideration! A+++
I would give this facility a 0 star rating if I could. There were about 4 decent staff members throughout this entire building. One of the directors was extremely nasty and ignorant. Staff are constantly on cellphones, children braiding staffs hair. The turnover rate of workers here was also quite sad. Extremely disappointed would not recommend. You get what you pay for.
I am eternally grateful that we stumbled upon this daycare. I had researched what seemed to be a thousand daycares and then we finally found happy Munchkins! The owner and staff are absolutely spectacular. They are hand picked with care and well screened! There are several daycares that can care for children, but at Happy Muchkins loves, truly loves their children. My daughter was safe, educated, loved and above all, well cared for. For me, I was super nervous about leaving my 12 week old in the hands of strangers. Happy Munchkins gave me peace of mind that my daughter wa safe and happy. I can repay them for all they have done and I will forever cherish Kendall's time there. we definitely have one happy munchkins who will miss this daycare!
Very bad care! Actually no care at all, kids are doing whatever they want and teachers do not want to be there and they have passion what so ever! Management is so careless and all they think about is you paying on time! Do not put your child in their hands! My daughter is another place and she is sooooo happy while in COA she was extremely miserable
