I just graduated and moved out of a Casa Bonita House. Tammy was great to work with throughout the year, and made living in one of their houses a good experience. If I were looking for another home in Tucson, I would use their company again.
I have lived in an 8 Bedroom house with other girls for the past 2 years and we have had no issues with Casa Bonita. I watched the link to the video below, and ANY house anywhere can have an issue during monsoon season. To make this a personal attack on someone in this nice company is terrible!! Sounds a lot like another spoiled brat who hasn't learned to deal with life's issues yet. We have had some maintenance issues over the years, but nothing that they didn't address right away. We all would recommend this company to anyone looking for UA housing. The maintenance staff is great and the office girls are very helpful. It says a lot about a review when someone hides behind a screen name. I happily give my real name and give this company good reviews.
My daughter moved into a Casa Bonita home last year and now has renewed her home for the second year. We couldn't be more pleased as parents with her selection in rental home companies. Tammy, and the other ladies in the office are always very helpful and polite. We would recommend this company to anyone searching for a house with their son or daughter going to the UofA!
Casa bonita has lied and breached the terms of our lease. They were required to give 48 hours notice before entering our property and they entered with no notice and stole our personal property. A lease with casa bonita is a MISTAKE.
Promised the world ,given the ghetto. Non existent amenities in construction for six months, Dirt ,dust and construction going on around the clock,noisy yelling and workers walking grounds and yelling and throwing things from roof. Trash around dumpsters and human waste and rodents and bugs. Thin walls ,non existent security as gates do not work most of the time and are locked open for construction. No use of club house, computer room or pools for months, trash from construction left everywhere industrial dumpsters in area all the time with porta potties and random roofing trash. Grounds keepers cut and blow grass everywhere twice a week. Office crew seems to be lost in space...not knowing or caring how to deal with daily work on property. Rents going up and continuous construction ,noise and homeless occupation all the time. Nightmare parking situation. False great five star reviews, professional four year old photos on website and all other apartment sites. Complex hasn't looked like photos in years. But nothing is fault of the complex or management. I am the idiot that was duped by bait and switch company and crew. Really disappointed. Just sickening. I have been here a year and can't wait to leave . If you value and enjoyable place to live . I would research other places long and hard. If you have to move here, beware no security ,trashy people and neighborhood and dusty dirty environment and non existent maintenance especially after you rent. They get a bonus for renting after that you are on your own. Regardless rent at your own risk you have been warned.
***ATTENTION PROPERTY OWNERS AND PROSPECTIVE TENANTS! SAVE YOURSELF SOME GRIEF AND DON'T GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY IN THE FIRST PLACE!*** I wish I would have read the agreement more closely. I had to learn the hard way. It's scary to realize that they operate in THREE STATES (Arizona, California, & Nevada). The owner is more interested in COLLECTING FEES than providing customer service or protecting his client's property investments. We are property owners (Landlords). He likes to blame bad reviews on unhappy tenants. Happy Tenants make for Happy Landlords and this company has few of either. His company doesn't care how long it takes to get a property rented because, once it's initially rented, they will continue to collect monthly management FEES regardless of occupancy status. The Landlord has to pay a commission FEE to the Realtor who refers the tenant to the company not to mention a $295 Initial Admin FEE. Try to cancel the agreement when a lease is in effect and you'll pay monthly management FEES for the remaining lease term. The Management Agreement also states that "Manager shall be entitled to collect and keep as compensation all miscellaneous fines and fees from Tenant to include but not limited to late, multiple checks, administration, pet and non-sufficient funds fees". Therefore they have a financial incentive to seek out tenants that have pets because they charge the tenant $250 per pet as a non-refundable PET FEE. The more pets the merrier!! It's PURE 100% PROFIT to the management company. It doesn't go to the Landlord who may experience pet damage at his property. If a tenant is late paying rent and the bank charges a late fee because the Landlord's mortgage payment is late, the management company gets the tenant's LATE FEE! The Landlord has to pay the bank fee himself. SO MY TWO EXTRA MONTHS OF MANAGEMENT FEES? $150 OR 100% PROFIT...THE TENANT'S PET FEE? $250 OR 100% PROFIT...THE TENANT'S LATE FEE? 100% PROFIT...WRITING HONEST REVIEWS ON YELP AND OTHER SITES? PRICELESS!! HEADS-UP PEOPLE!! Don't be fooled by fake or solicited reviews! The owner Jayson Yoss even wrote his own company a 5 Star Yelp review (which Yelp promptly deleted for violating their Terms of Service or Content Guidelines) and here on YP (04/23/2012) and deleted for the same violation. His Office Manager SOLICITED REVIEWS FROM CLIENTS. I saved the email. You might even see some of those solicited reviews here. VERY UNETHICAL! NOW HE'S THREATENING ME WITH A SLANDER LAWSUIT IF I DON'T REMOVE MY POSTED REVIEWS BY 3/6/15! YEAH THAT'S RIGHT! HE'S TRYING TO SUPPRESS FREEDOM OF SPEECH!! THAT'S PRETTY DISGRACEFUL FOR HIM TO DO, ESPECIALLY SINCE HE'S AN EX-MARINE OFFICER WHO SERVED TO PROTECT OUR RIGHTS!! PLEASE DON'T GET INVOLVED WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL, UNFAIR, & UNBELIEVABLE COMPANY!!!
