FIND ANOTHER SHOP!RUINED MY TRANSMISSION!REFUSED TO REPLACE IT!I was recently a customer here for over a year. I like the fact that they carry castroil high mileage and they top off all fluids and a free general inspection with an oil change. For 11 months i brought my truck in once a month for an oil change. On that 11th occasion I was informed that my transmission fluid level was low and that it had been topped off. I drove my truck home (about 0.8 miles) with no incedent. I left for work in the morning and upon reaching highway speeds i quickly realized that my truck was not shifting properly. I promptly returned to the shop and informed them of the issue. They checked my trans fluid and told me it was overfull but clean, he showed me and let me smell it saying it wasnt burnt(they all knew me well by this point and i stayed next to my truck the entire time). Then they pumped out over half of my fluid in attempt to level it out. So he had to put more fluid in and told me he would put some additive in it to help. After about an hour of checking, adding, checking, adding fluid, he leveled the fluid out and i was on my way. But my transmission has only gotten worse since then.Then last week i went back in for another oil change. Drove home. Got up the next morning and headed to sugarland for work. As soon as i headed home i noticed smoke pouring from the rear of my truck. I immediately stopped and found oil pouring from my oil filter. I called the owner of Kwik Kar and she was quick to pay for a few quarts of oil and another local oil change. I then headed straight back to kwik kar to fill back up with the castroil i prefer. While there, i asked their master mechanic to take a look at my transmission and diagnose what my problem was. When i told him that an employee put an additive in he did not believe me. When i asked him why, he replied that they dont even carry transmission fluid additive. (WELL THEN WHAT THE HELL GOT DUMPED IN MY TRANSMISSION?) He was able to take one smell of the fluid and tell me that my transmission was burnt and i need a new one.WHOA! I NEVER HAD ANY ISSUE UNTIL U GUYS OVERFILLED, PUMPED DRY, THEN REFILLED AND ADDED TO IT!When i explained this, with the corroberating stories from both employees that were there for the transmission issues, they told me to wait while they see what they can do.After waiting around for an hour, i was approached and informed they they could "help" me out by getting me a "new" REmanufactured transmission at cost for $3081. WTF?I replied that i could get it cheaper myself and that was not good enough for me. They needed to fix it because IT WAS YHEIR FAULT! Thats when i was told thats all they would do for me.They ruined my transmission, had employees testify to everything that i said, told me my transmission was burnt up (one month after telling me it was nice and clean!) and offered to HELP this young working father of 3 to overpay them for a repair they caused. I cant afford it for $300, let alone $3000. Thanks so much.I am honestly disappointed to say that i will never bring my vehicle here again. And neither should you. Its too bad that people get away with screwing innocent customers like myself. I HOPE THE OWNER FEELS LIKE CRAP FOR COSTING PEOPLE HARD EARNED MONEY FOR NEGLIGENCE
They care nothing about first come first serve. I had to remind them that I was still there and what I came for after they serviced every customer that came in after me. It wasn't until the lunch rush was over and the waiting room cleared out that I was finally acknowledged. No apology offered for the bad service by that pig faced woman at the front desk. I recommend to anyone to keep driving. I wish I were Donald Trump so I could crush them.
