A surprisingly quiet hotel considering it is located next to the highway. Great location if you are going to visit the Grand Canyon for the day, but be aware it is still over an hours drive to the Grand Canyon. It is also a hop skip and a jump to the Polar Express which leaves from Williams to the Grand Canyon. Pet Friendly.

We booked for 6 people online but were charged $30 more upon arrival. The Indian immigrant owner, like most of the motels, was rude and harassed us after we occupied the room. He tried to prevent me from using a roll away bed after I told him the beds listed as queen size online were only fullsize. We demanded a refund and left. Sorry to say it America but your motels across the country have been hijacked by illegal immigrants. Deport them now and fire your crooked politicians that are alliwing it.
If your a light sleeper go somewhere else. I could hear the guy next door coughing all night and the people above sounded like a herd of elephants. The pool was also closed "Till further notice"
Excellent hotel. Fantastic price. Hot food to start your day. And thoughtful staff. Even paying for (Two Thumbs Up - reasonable) taxi service made this the best deal around.
No Coustomer service at all... The owner is rude and his wife doesn't know how to speck English... A Lille odd when you are trying to check in...
called ahead to make sure they would be open late because we knew we would be arriving at a late hour said would be no problem get there and the sign is lit up and says open however the door was locked and said please ring night bell did so 3 times and no luck tried calling no answer. Thank goodness there are more hotels in town.
Stayed at a much nicer Super 8 in Oklahoma for a much cheaper rate! $100 for sub par rooms with. 10+ year old fixtures. No 24 hour service, the Lobby closes at 11, and is not accessible to guests until 6 am.Sparse amenities
Route 66 RobberyWe made reservations for two nights, three months in advance and yes, got a great price, NOT!!!When we got to the motel we were told that the manager could not check us because they had a problem with an online reservation company and that we would need to go down the street to the Grand Motel and speak with the owner Elton (he owns both online reservation (with the price we had already paid). He stated that he had a problem with several online reservation companies about 4 days ago and that he would not honor our prepaid reservation. Upon returning home, we filed a fraud charge with our credit card company and just received the credit back to our account, 3 months later. So yes, they post great rates online, prepaid of course, but once you get there they steal your money, don't honor your reservation, and then lie to your face about it.
OMG...finally, space. After spending nearly two weeks in our 22ft. trailer we got to our last park before heading home to Ca. The sites in the previous parks we stayed in were so close together you could practically shake hands with your neighbor without even leaving your threshold. Not so with the Canyon Hotel and RV park. It was so nice to wake up in the morning, open the shades and see beautiful, tall pine trees and open space. We were shown where everything was, showers, laundry room, etc. and found it to be very clean and well kept. The owners, Kevin and Shirley and their staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We're definitely going to make this a, must stay at stop, on our next trip through AZ..
This is really a great place. Modern, clean, great beds and a very nice cont. breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Computer business center has TWO computers and is virtually a private room. Price was well within reason.
