My husbands glasses needed repair so I took them to the place that we had purchased them, Spectacle Shoppe of Wilbraham. After picking the ""fixed"" glasses up and getting them into the car I noticed deep scratches in both lenses. I went back into the store to report the problem. I was met with indifference and no accountablilty what so ever.
Every time I am in need of glasses I go to Robin. With over 30 years of experience, he has always been able to get me and my family the glasses we want work with our prescriptions. My parents are disabled and he goes out of his way to make sure they are taken care of. The staff are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable, they listen and provide helpful feedback. I have always had such positive experiences with Robin, and he goes above and beyond to ensure our vision needs are met. Very thankful that businesses like his are still around. Don't waste your time with bigger names. His business cards say "quality with an eye for detail," and I would have to agree.
Robin Odentz at the Spectacle Shoppe has very capably and loyaly taken care of my eyeglass and vision needs - since the 1970's. I have worn glasses since I was 4. I am in my 60s today. My eyeglass RX is very complex and Robin has very skillfully upgraded and filled it in a timely manner over the decades. He has always done any repairs (due to my negligence) for free and as a walk-in and without any hesitation. I cannot say enough about Robin's courteous and skilled service over these many years. He's got my business for the next few decades! (No, I am not his mother and he has no idea I am writing this)!
I walked in and no one said hello or even acknowledged me until I said hello. There were 3 people working there at the time. I said I was there looking for new glasses, still no one said anything or offered to help me. I looked a bit and walked out the door. I won't be walking back in ever again.
