The Andover location is neglectful of the their residences. There is enough staff to give care but a lack of leadership oversight to ensure employees are doing their jobs. Residence do not receive sufficient assistance with eating, bathing and dressing. My relative would go to bed in their day clothes because of lack of assistance. Individuals would sit an stare at their food after it was delivered to their table at because they were not give further assistance. If they were given any aid it was at the end of the meal time when they had eaten nothing. Sufficient assistance is not given with bathing and the residences are on their own. Do not put a love one at this facility.

They want the gravy of the first 20 days and not the hard work it takes to progress and document that progression after. Threatened to discharge my mom every Tuesday "in two weeks" prompting panic driven searches for alternatives (they were NO help) and just finally moving her out. The therapist have no idea how to progress someone and document it, or they just don't want people staying past the 20 days and having to actually write a care plan! Mom is in another facility who assures us there is no reason she will not progress the 90 days she has covered after hospitalization. Know your rights, you will need them.
dad loves its here. moved him in a couple months back and i'm very happy with it because he is
After lots of research, my sister and I recently moved our dad into Kansas Masonic. We couldn't be happier with the high quality of care he is receiving. The staff is awesome and attentive. He didn't want to leave home at first, but now he's enjoying new friends and busy with activities.I should also mention he loves the food-he mentions it every time we talk. It means so much to us to see him thrive. Thank you Kansas Masonic for taking care of our dad!
I had always been curious as to what this place looked like on the inside, the outside is so interesting, so I stopped in to take a look. I was told they have recently remodeled...wow, it was gorgeous! I also had the pleasure of seeing one of the newly renovated apartments, shown to me by one of their concierges, Amanda. She and the apartment were spectacular! In fact, the entire staff was warm and friendly; all the residents seemed extremely happy and everyone knew everyone's name. It truly seemed like a warm, homey, happy place to be. I will definitely return when we look at assisted living options for my mom in a few years. I feel like it would be an easier transition from home to care facility for her and the rest of our family what with all the amenities and how comfortable and beautiful it is. They also told me that people get married in their chapel...its incredibly beautiful. I would defiitely recommend stopping by and having a look, especially if you are looking at senior care options for yourself or a parent.
