We have used Climate Control with owner George Nichols for the past two seasons, and he has provided excellent service every time. He is willing to look at issues and return at no extra charge if there are errors, and we find his pricing to be very fair, especially on new installations. HIGHLY ADVICE STAYING FAR AWAYOn 4-20-17 I had made a claim with my home warranty company to get my A/C checked out because it was not running correctly. A tech was called out from Climate Control by the name of GEORGE NICOLES. He checks out my unit and said that it was leaking all over the condenser. Considering I have home warranty, they wanted to first use a sealant before replacing anything (, which I can respect.) George put the sealant in my unit and put 8 pounds of coolant. Everything was working fine with it until 6-1-17. At that point, I made another claim to get it checked out again, and the warranty company sends out a different company. They make the claim that the unit is low on coolant again. The cause was from a test valve that was not put back on properly when the previous tech was there (, George.) Considering that George Nicole’s claimed he was a tech/Owner that stood by his work, I decided to call him to see if he would warranty his work. The conversation started nice, but he quickly turned into a very hateful person; he began screaming at me and claiming that I was cheap for having home warranty. Making crying noises and mocking me for each response I had. Home warranty can cost as much as $1000.00 for a single house hold. He stated that I was trying to get everything for free, that I should not be so cheap and pay for a new unit. Not only was it his fault for my condenser to leak, he claimed that there was no way my unit would hold 8 lbs. of coolant. After which I reminded him that he charged me for 8 lbs. This to me meant that he wrongfully charged me for more coolant than I needed. The conversation was then ended by him hanging up. It was not that he denied warranty on his work that frustrated me. It was how he treated his customer. I did him no wrong, and was simply asking him to fix his mistake. THIS MAN & COMPANY IS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE AND POOR SERVICE. HE WILL CLAIM TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT, BUT AT THE END HE WILL NOT STAND BY HIS WORK.
After our brand new unit was installed and leaked out all the refrigerant we called and got No response until we called from a different number. Told us our problem was not important enough to come out that day. Not to mention how rude he got when we told him he was at fault. Bad attitude, customer service and sub par work. Do yourself a favor and seek comfort elsewhere.
