Really nice employees. They pet my dog and helped me pick out a healthy food for my car who has allergies and is overweight. Knowledgeable staff and I even got to meet the owner. It's nice to have a local pet store.
My experience wasn't to great. The store is set up beautifully but after coming in with my children who are 6 and almost 3 the store manager watched my every movement like I was a thief and then making me feel so unwelcome due to my children getting excited to be in the store. So I bought something to not be a burden to them but I won't return due to horrible manner. They should put on the door children not welcome.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! Pet stores often buy from puppy mills, which abuse animals who are kept in a cage for most of their lives. We need to put stores like this out of business, not buy from them but say "Oh yea that's bad." PLEASE consider adopting from a shelter or a local breeder (if you must). If you adopt from anyone, go to their house and look at the living conditions. Many times, breeders themselves abuse the dogs or buy from puppy mills. PLEASE HELP STOP PUPPY MILLS!!
I always wanted a fish tank iv always bn vrry visually attracted to them.I went in on a whim an ended up buying about 5fish.Altho if i hadnt went ther i would have bought 10 or 20 bcuz i jst ddnt have a clue about cycleing an fish tank requirments for happy healthy fish. They ddnt seem eager to jst mke the sale at the animal or my expence an i cant thank them enuff for being tht way.straight up honest, friendly. Its been a cple monthes an iv now got 3tanks a lots of very beautiful fish. Thanks to them i have never lost a fish due to the most common 1st time owner reasons. They are happy healthy an a complete joy to watch for hours.better than tv thts forsure.I go in evry other day by habbit an iv always gtta gt the latest gadgets n gizmoes lol.plus iv found myself being very fond of the younger girl tht works the front.lol we both love fish an it never hurts tht she is gorgous..They have my buisness 100%..
Thank you guys for saying all that stuff about what happend I was gonna get a border collie for christmas for my 10 year old daughter. She would would have been heart broken. So we couldnt find a border collie that she wanted from any of the breeders that are around our area. So we went with a mini aussie blue merle. She is now a year old. So hyper :-) we love her so much we paid $450 for her and she was worth every penny! And I am trult sorry for what happened to you all that ur puppies have problems now. But you helped me a lot! Some one should sue them terrible people! They dont deserve one star from me but I had to :-(
Horrible, TERRIBLE customer service. I have been going to Pet world for a year and a half, hoping my experience would improve. I'd rather support a locally owned business than a large company like petsmart and petco but I will never be returning here. I filled out their special order forms for a few bichir species a year ago and never heard back. I asked them this April to call me when they got other ropefish in and left my number. I never heard back from them and when I stopped by to get frozen krill I saw a ropefish for sale (an employee told me another customer was livid he wasn't called when they got them in either). The straw that broke the camels back was this May. I spoke at length with Troy (the owner/manager/whatever) about ordering some ranchu goldfish. He said he would get a handful of them in in three weeks. I called later and spoke with Troy to confirm the day the order would come in so I could get there to pick mine up ASAP. He confirmed that it would be in the next Thursday. When I showed up however there were no ranchus and an employee told me they weren't even getting an order that week because Troy left for a conference. There was one, poorly conformed lionhead goldfish in their tanks, two employees insisted it was the same as a ranchu but they most certainly are NOT the same. I spoke with a woman up front and asked her to call me if the order ever did come in; she insisted they would. I have still heard nothing and if they call now they will not be getting my money.Their prices are laughable ($90 for a 3 inch, captive bred ornate bichir is ridiculous!), their service is terrible, and their non-aquatic animals look poorly treated.
