So I ordered some wins delivered to my hotel room while attending a conference. The delivery showed up quite promptly and what I ordered was wonderful but the guy who delivered it was a little odd. He gave me some breadsticks that I hadn't ordered starting "I don't know if you ordered breadsticks but, here you go anyway." I advised that I want interested and he urgently insisted. Then said "these items may seem weird but I promise your order is all there" and then began handing me box after box of what I assumed to be my order. I paid him, gave him a tip, thanked him and closed the door. I then began inventorying what I had received. I ended up with my compete order (minus a couple extra dipping sauces) but with the addition of breadsticks, and some weird pot pie that appeared someone had already eaten from. So essentially this driver had me throw his garbage away is the only logical theory I have developed.
Pluses: Excellent pizza, excellent salads (my faves are the Salsiccia pizza and the Insalata d'il Vicino) and desserts to die for!! Freshly-prepared food, that awesome-tasting wood-oven pizza, and attentive, friendly and super-efficient waitstaff add to the great dining experience!! Minuses: Irritating jazz music (volume too high) and LONG lines at the ordering stations during prime dining hours. I would recommend arriving early (5-5:30 p.m.) or later in the evening (8-8:30 p.m.). In spite of long lines, totally worth the wait!!!!
Reasonably priced pizza buffet on the west side of town. Friendly service if you can handle them yelling at customers when the walk in. "hi, welcome to cici's" to every Tom, Dicky & harry that goes in or out the door. Other than that, u can order any pizza u like and they will give u the first serving, deliver it to your table, and not have to fight over everybody else. One tip: AVOID rush hour. It gets super busy and kids are everywhere
The pizza is really good. However, the website doesn't add up the total correctly when buying 2 two toppers for 5.99 so be careful. I built 4 pizzas and the total was over 50 dollars. I tried calling twice and let the phone ring off the hook and got no answer (6:10pm on a Tues). If you're starving and don't want to wait, Little Caesars is right down the street and they have one topper pizzas ready to go if you can't get through to Domino's.
Knollas has great lunch menu. They are fast and friendly, the food is always fresh and the restaurant is very clean. The have everything from personal deep dish, to the NY slice and a great sandwich selection. I was a faithful ham and pineapple NY slicer until I tried the meatball sub and now it is always a tough decision. Thank You Knollas for your dedication to your staff and expectation of customer service!!
What a great place to eat - extremely friendly staff and great pizza and salad. I also love the spice olive oil at every table - fantastic with my pizza! I was impressed by how several folks knew the staff by name - obviously they are regulars and love it here too! I can't wait until the weather permits use of their outside dining area. I highly recommend.
One hour wait for two slices of lukewarm to cold pizza. My wife and I eat there often and have for years. We do love the pizza but we can't take the horrible service anymore. It has been less than adequate for a while now and they offer nothing to make up for your extreme inconvenience. Obviously they don't think they need to earn your business .
I really like this location! The people always seem friendly and its pretty clean. The last time I was there, it seemed like they had some catching up to do after the dinner rush. But almost every other time they have fresh pizza, a clean restaurant and friendly people.
I absolutely love this place. Tonight I had the "Guido". An excellent sandwich perfectly made. The pizza here is also extremely good and filling. The environment is fun and I love the addition of the bar. Highly recommended. Of course I'll be back
