I started going here early 2017, and my pets and I have always been treated with great respect and great care by everyone on staff, I am so happy I started bringing them here for their care, and I definitely intend to continue doing so.
I just went to Fuzzie Was He pet grooming for the first time and was very please. My dog looked beautiful, they did such a good cut. His face turn…
You couldn't ask for a better pet sitter! My husband and I recently went out of town and had Annie come watch our fur-babies. They couldn't have been in better hands! Not only did Annie take the dogs for a walk every morning, she took care of everything else too. From opening and closing blinds, coming late in the evening to let out the dogs, to taking pictures of all the animals daily, even the fish. A friend who was mowing, accidentally triggered our alarm system. Annie made an extra trip to our home just to make sure that everything was ok! Annie truly goes above and beyond in her care for your home and animals. She was able to accommodate multiple visits a day, all while over a long holiday week and holiday.Annie definitely has a way with animals. The dogs both adore her and she was even able to get close to our kitty, who is afraid of almost everyone! You'd be hard pressed to find more exceptional service. We will definitely be using Annie for all future pet sitting needs!
We were caught with an emergency and had to run out-of-state unexpectedly when my dad had a heart attack in December of last year and fortunately for us A Bone Sweet Bone had a cancellation so we could get our dogs Dixie and Max in for boarding. All the kennel facilities were already booked and it was a new service that A Bone Sweet Bone had recently started. I didn't know what to expect until I toured the place where my "kids" were going to be staying since we had always boarded them in a kennel facility before this. I was pleasantly surprised by the tidiness and organization of the home. It was set up like a giant doggie playroom... Dixie and Max took a liking to Annie the owner right off. Of course the soft beef chewy treats she greeted them with at the door after asking my permission of course didn't hurt I'm sure. I was also very pleased and relieved to learn during this introductory visit that Annie has a nursing background so Dixie's insulin injections would not be a hurdle we would have to be concerned with at all. Wow, what a godsend! Max is never an issue. Dixie, however is high maintenance. Special diet, insulin twice a day, etc. Annie kept us updated with pictures multiple times a day and gave us report cards as well as a keepsake picture of their stay at the house to take home with us! It was top-notch service with a smile and Dixie and Max seemed so happy when we picked them up they didn't want to leave! No more kennel boarding for us. They did so much better in a home environment. She had us take their kennels in case there was any behavioral issues with other animals for precautionary measures, but they certainly were happy just roaming around playing together with the other animals. She only keeps a limited number at a time so there are no problems, and everyone has to be up-to-date on shots. It seems run extremely smoothly and very professionally. If you're looking for an alternative to kennel boarding or your pet has separation anxiety issues check out A Bone Sweet Bone for your next overnight outing. You'll be glad you did. We are. We're sold for life! Who'd have thought it would take an emergency for us to find such a great alternative for our babies? Crazy how things work out.
At first I was unsure about letting a stranger into my house to care for my long hair Persian Phoebe, but after a few minutes into the meet 'n greet with Annie I felt confident and comfortable with her maturity and knowledge of her business that I quickly overcame my anxiety and fears. She's been doing this for 17 years now so I was relieved that her experience preceded her. Phoebe took a liking to her immediately which was also a drawing factor in my decision making. I mean animals know character right? At least that's what I think so Phoebe and I are ecstatic with Annie and the services she provides sometimes she even brings homemade gluten free treats which Phoebe devours. We're happy with the treasure we've found in Annie and are sure you'd feel the same way too!
I've been using Annie's services at A Bone Sweet Bone for almost 6 years now and have nothing but the best things to say about her and the care and attention she gives my little Susie and Doc. She accommodates our schedules even at holidays and last minute changes. She is so flexible and trustworthy I don't worry about a thing when we go out of town when leaving Susie & Doc in her care. They love having her come in and play with them and we love the pictures she sends us on her visits. Highly recommend her if you're apprehensive about a stranger coming into your home like we were at first because she is just like family to us! She is qualified, dependable, honest, and sincere but most of all she loves Susie & Doc! She's a real genuine person. You'll love her too maybe not as much as your pets, but you just might if you give her a try. We did and we are as happy as we were from day one!
My early experiences with Annie were fine. This most recent time, however, left a bad taste in my mouth. Before I left, a friend of mine volunteered to petsit my cats for a while for free. I scheduled Annie for later days in my trip, when my friend couldn't be there. One day, my friend was sitting on the couch when all of a sudden my door opened. It was Annie. She said she had come to pick up her money early. Now, I understand that I had given Annie a key to my house, but having a key does NOT give her permission to enter my home during days she is not scheduled to be there. Let me repeat that: Annie entered my home on a day she was not scheduled to petsit without me knowing about it or giving her permission to do so. That is trespassing. It is unprofessional and absolutely unacceptable -- and also illegal. If my friend hadn't happened to be there at the time, I never would have known. That incident broke my trust in Annie, and that alone was enough to convince me to find another sitter. However, just as icing on the cake... One of my cats became ill right before I left, and out of courtesy to Annie, I gave her a heads up. I told her I would let her know if my cat needed any special care. What does she say in response to my text? She said she charges for medication administration. Not "poor baby" or "I hope she gets better" or "You must be so worried"... just that she charges to give medications and needs me to sign a form to that effect. Her response was completely insensitive. I did not feel like she cared about my cat's well-being at all. On top of her entering my home without permission, that was enough to solidify my decision that I will not use Annie's services again.
Overall I think that my case should have been treated differently. I think when I called the lady should have treated me better and not be RUDE.
I had a wonderful experience at Solomon Vet today. The location is convenient, pleasant and easy to find. The receptionist was personable and informative both on the phone and in person. The technician gave me complete information and did not mind at all answering my questions about exact costs for each treatment. Dr. Jessica Lang was thorough in her examination and listened carefully to all of my questions and details about my pet. At checkout, every detail was explained with personal interest in my pets. I have found a wonderful vet!
Joyce did so well with my little Pomeranian!!! I had just rescued my baby and she was not in the best shape but Joyce made her look like a princess in just 2 hours. I will definetly be a regular customer from now on. She doesn't have a bunch of dogs around all the time and she really cares about them and makes sure they are in the best conditions.
I would definitely recommend this hospital. The staff really care not only about the pets, but the owners too.
