Very nice people and above and beyond service. First off let me say that I did not expect to receive near as much as I did for the load of junk we hauled out of our garage. We took in an old refrigerator, window AC, old BBQ'r and some extension cords and received $28. Last time we hauled this out to the landfill they charged us $35...Makes this deal worth $63 and I did not have to worry about getting stuck or a flat tire. The workers there were very helpful and was impressed with how easy the process was. Forgot my wallet at home but my wife had hers as you have to have a current ID to do business there. Overall A+
Super Service - Great prices - Paid Cash. I have over the years did business with everyone believe me within 100 miles of Wichita and WMR is hands down the best and most honest metals dealer around. I have over the last few months gotten to know the people there and they treat me like part of the family. Thank you WMR for being a shining light in the metals business.
I am slow to review as it has been now over 5 years since I started selling my materials to WMR. This by far is the most honest and efficient metals dealer in Wichita. Integrity,Honesty and Efficiency not to mention they pay you cash and they do all this faster then any other metals dealer in town. The have a different process that is not like others but it works and works well, Clean place and up front on pricing. Never had an issue with anyone there. I like the sign in the lobby about who they choose to do business with and have witnessed them telling people to take a hike over bad attitudes or suspected questionable material. You want the best place in Wichita to sell your materials? WMR is the place.
I visited this company for the first time this week. Pros are that the staff are for the most part very helpful, especially the 2 women running the register. The price for aluminum cans is the best I've found in the city. Also, the diversity of materials this company takes is wonderful. Cons are that unlike it says on their website, the yard staff is not of any assistance in identifying any special items that may have above-common-scrap value. You will have to know for sure what metals you have before you get there. That's the only reason I wouldn't give this company 5 stars. One last note: This company is so popular that there is a definite wait on Monday morning early. If you don't like waiting, wait until after Noon on Monday or go another day in the week. With those caveats, I would totally recommend this company to anyone, and I appreciate the help they were able to give me.
We visited this facility Saturday afternoon. We were cleaning out the estate of my late grandfather and we had some lawn equipment,BBQ grill, bicycles and some misc metals to dispose of. I called around and the person who answered the phones was very helpful so I chose this location. When we arrived they appeared very busy but well organized and did not take as long as I expected. The staff was very friendly and helped us sort our load. I felt very comfortable during the whole process and believe I was treated very fair. I would recommend this facility for recycling.
Last time I was at a scrap metal facility was when I was a young man with my uncle 20+ years ago. This place is pretty neat an well kept and not what I expected. We were able to recycle a mower and some old golf clubs,a bicycle and a couple computers. I wouldn't say we are getting rich($12) by far from this deal but we now have them gone from our house and that is really what we wanted the most. I would return to this facility again. Kyle
Super duper...I collected cans as a school project and sold them here. The person took the time to help me with all of my questions and explain the life cycle of a can. I was very impressed with the whole operation and how friendly we were treated. I got an A on my report and I pass that A onto these guys.
We collect cans at our chuch and sell them here. This is the only place that the scale weighed the same as what we weighed at church. I always thought maybe I was not getting paid fair and now I know. We sell 300-400 pounds every 2-3 months. They also give us special pricing not sure if that is because we are a chuch or because we have so much. Very nice people also.
These guys go out of there way to make sure to get you the best deal on your items. The guy on the scale and I believe the owner took the time to show me a few ways to sort my copper and alluminum to get the best price. They were really busy but never I never felt rushed and the whole deal went pretty quick. This place is very clean for a scrapyard which I like as I have had a flat tire before at another place. They paid me cash which was a nice suprise. One last thing...They told me Thank You and told me they appreciated my business. That made me smile.
