Galichia Medical Group PA

The doctors and staff at Galichia are absolutely horrible. people. There is no better way to put it. They show no compassion or care for their patients, and show no concern for the patient's pain.. They are quite rude, and act like very cold, methodical matter-of-fact machines. They are completely unwilling to sympathize with the patient. It is clear that they are offended that the patient has the nerve to even ask for treatment. They show no sympathy or compassion towards the patient and are quite sure they are going about things perfectly.
Recently I went to Galichia for an acute ear ache. The pain was indescribable.. The doctor looked at it and said it was extremely red and swollen.. However, I was given nothing for the pain the entire time I was there, despite the fact that the pain was so intense that I could barely move. or talk. When I asked about them not giving me anything for the pain, they were extremely defensive about not being able to give me anything at all for the pain.

The staff was extremely caring, efficient and kind. Diagnosis was made quickly. I also didn't have to wait long before I was taken back.

Made an appt with Dr. Galichia and was surprised to see his PA instead. PA immediately told me to cut my carvedilol (Coreg) in half. Had testing and scheduled a nuclear stress test. Became weaker and called, leaving messages, for three days--did not receive a call back. Talked to one of the schedulers about taking the stress test and she said it was unlikely I would see Dr. Galichia but would see the PA again for the results, with an impending cath. Cancelled as a "dissatisfied patient."

Doctors are attentive and thorough. I've had two doctors here, both of which moved away and had to pick a new one. They don't rush you and the lab people are very professional... haven't had a bad experience with them at all. Their bookkeeping dept possibly could be better. The receptionists are very friendly.
