I have taken three of my dogs to college hill for many years and they have always been very professional and kind. They do everything that will make my dogs extremely comfortable. I have always gotten my dogs in on the same day I have called.

I've been going to College Hill Animal Hospital for over 3 years now. I've always had a pleasant experience. If you can go during the week and make an appointment you will get right in. Both doctors are very very professional and care deeply about your animals...even call a few days later to make sure they are doing okay after their visit.

Avoid it.

While the vet techs here were kind and helpful, both the veterinarian and receptionist we had to deal with were incredibly rude. The veterinarian made distasteful jokes and repeatedly talked about removing the disabled leg of one of my dogs despite the procedure being unnecessary. During a visit where one of our dogs was taken in for an x-ray that we were told should only take a couple of hours I called after the estimated time was up, the secretary was short with me, said the vet would call me when my dog was ready, and then hours later with no call, and feeling very concerned, we went to pick up our dog and the receptionist claimed she tried to contact us hours before. We were supremely upset with this business and never went back. Please, save yourself the trouble.

They took really good care of me and my dog. My dog isn't even a year yet and barks when he sees someone he don't know and he will even bark when they move, so he was baring quite a bit and none of the staff cared or said anything the lady that was at the front desk was just talking write back to him. The examination went well. the only thing i didn't like is the way the doctor talked to my dog when he was shaving around the lump. Then when the paying part came i ended up being 11 dollars short and didn't have enough for the medication so they allowed us to come back when we had the rest of the money but we still didn't have the money for medication so they said that once the test results come back depending on if they were positive or negative for ringworm then we could get the medication.

Number #1 Vet

Since i have taking may Yorkies to this clinic i have nothing but good service to all three of my yorkies. i used to go to another clinic. i was having problems with the way the owner treated my first one. when we started going to them it was okay but it changed. the prices went up and my little female yorkie doesn't like to have her face touched. he was very rude to her and my husband did not like it so now we go to the college hill clinic. they have been great with us, my female yorkie had puppies last year and i was really upset because it took to long for the second puppie to come out. although i had my instruction sheet he gave me i was not doing good. i called the vet and after talking to them and waiting everything was fine. we had the second puppie not even 20 minutes from the call. they called and checked up on us. i will always take my yorkies to them. they are great.

Time is precious here

My dog was the last patient of the day here and it was my first visit here they had already closed when a vet told me my new puppy would not make it thru the weekend if I did not hospitalize him. Not having the means to save my puppy life the vet suggested for me to call previous owner to see if they would go in half on medical expenses since the puppys illness was diagnosed before I purchased him so while i was still at the vet trying to plea to help me save my puppys life the previous owner of the dog wanted confirmation the puppy was I'll before I bought him so when i asked the vet to speak to her she acted so mad to help she snatched my phone from me and was talking rather rude and loud with the puppys previous owner about she don't have the time to deal with this since she was closed which I understood but the insensitivity about me in tears about my puppys life I couldn't grasp I thought vets were supposed to be sensitive to ppl needs like doctors are with humans not only that I watched a short tempered clerk get on two kids who was only admiring a bird that was sitting on the check in counter out of the the cage she kept telling the two little Kids how nervous they was making the bird and they needed to back up or sit down I don't like shortness with Kids I'll never go back I did meet a different vet who waited on me the same day after I explained what happened and my puppy is fine
