I live in Andover KS, and the closest thing here to fast mexican food is Taco Bell. There are other sit down places, but I wanted fast food. I like Taco Bell and the one in Andover is good, but I wanted more authentic real mexican food. I did a search online, saw some good reviews of El Gordo, and noticed it was not far from me. So today I went there and ordered the El Gordo burrito. I could already tell two things as soon as my order was handed to me. First it smelled delicious, really smelled good. Second this burrito was big and heavy not some small wimpy burrito, so for a little bit over five bucks you get a GOOD sized burrito. When I got home I ate the burrito, and it was excellent. Shredded beef, bell peppers, onions, rice, cheese, refried beans, very very good burrito and it was huge. They will also include different types of salsa depending on what you want. I had some green salsa and red salsa and both were excellent, and the red had some good spice to it. And I really didnt have to wait that long for my order either, considering this is real mexican food. I cant wait to try some other items on the menu, because if the other items are as good as the El Gordo burrito I will be a very happy gringo haha.If you want some fast mexican food but you want more authentic and a good deal, try El Gordo its fantastic! El Gordo is muy bien!!!
Service was terrible, placed a to go order was told it would take 15 minutes. After arriving 15 minutes later it took another 30 to get food. Wasn't acknowledge or no apology for wait. Server acted inconvenience when we asked how much longer. Got back and the food was poor quality. It was thrown together quickly. Salsa was water down and lettuce tasted dirty like it had not been cleaned. Would of appreciated an apology for the wait or even been acknowledged us or comp something on the order.
I really enjoy eating at El Rodeo since they have moved to their new location. The food, service & atmosphere is outstanding.
This was the worst experience ever. We waited hour for our food to be cold poor service and the baby was eating rice of course she is going to get it on the floor she likes to eat herself. We went to complain to the owner and he was more concerned of the rice on the floor he said you clean the rice up and you have your food for free and walked off. We waited for a broom for 5 minutes or so with 3 kids getting impatient and the server is like don't worry about it so the owner tells us we're not welcomed anymore. I will be never be back again anyways worst experience ever!!!!!!!!!
If I could give 0 stars, that's how bad our visit to Los Cocos was. We were seated and given menus and a. Asked of chips & sauce. Then we waited for 17 minutes. No water, nothing. No one even looked our way. The chips were greasy & bland. The sauce tasted like tomato sauce from a can. We finally got up and walked out. I told the hostess who seated us we never got waited on so and we were leaving. She said thank you!I say No Thank YOU! We won't be returning!!!!
First seated upstairs, waitress was extremely rude - we asked to move where there was more room & told no so we decided to go downstairs to which she said rude remarks & gave our group of 8 dirty looks. Downstairs we were told they would clean a table for 8 for us, they cleaned it then split it & gave to 3 that just walked in. 25 min later we were getting ready to leave when they said they had us a table: crammed in back & very slanted. Took forever to get order placed & 30 min go get mediocre food. I paid $2 extra for beef added to quesadillas & there was 4 sm pcs. We were there almost 2 hours. ** I do not recommend to anyone **
It's a vintage neighborhood bar wth a lot of personality. Excellent food, great drinks & cold beer at gd prices. Very clean & excellent service. Wonderful sandwiches & homemade soups! The jukebox & game room are a welcome touch too! I'll be back!! Yumm!!
Amazing food, awsome service, my personal favorite place to eat I have been coming here for a few years. Never once have I had a bad experience.
Really good food. Atmosphere was authentic Tex-Mex. Service was horrible. Forgot to give us change, always questioned our orders, and gave us the wrong sides. Decent restaurant, horrible service.
Enjoyed dinner at Molino's Cuisine until the bill came. Our server charged us for things we didn't order. When we brought it to the owner's attention, HE CALLED THE POLICE ON US.See our bill: http://imgur.com/inJU5XZ
