WSPA always has the best interest for their dancers. I have experienced this as a student dancer for 15 years and now as a teacher of 2 years! Our motto Supportive, Positive, & Productive, rings so true and continues to be a huge part of how the staff & students interact. This studio is truly a family away from family.
THE BEST EXPERIENCEI grew up at this dance studio! I started at age 3 and continued until I graduated high school, taking everything from Ballet to Hip Hop. WSPA offers a wide variety of dance techniques and provides opportunities to learn and grow as both an artist and an individual. It was my home away from home for so many years, and a place where I felt I could find a model to aspire to. While here I was able to learn from numerous guest artists from distinguished professional backgrounds. I also traveled to the University of Wyoming and New York City with the studio's artistic direction and other young dancers to participate in several summer intensives.Yet, even with all its opportunities, the faculty at Wichita School of Performing Arts might just be the best part. They know when to push you, but they also know when it's time to have fun. You won't find teachers with more passion and love for the art!
Called the facility 2 hours before taking my daughter to enroll in her first dance class. Filled out the paperwork, paid, then was told the instructor would come introduce herself. But she didn't and then found out the class was full and my daughter and her friend couldn't sign up. So I wasted 45 minutes had to get a refund and had a 3 year old crying as we left because they weren't organized enough to know about their classes and being able to accept new students for that class.
