Idk if it was just me but I have mixed feelings about this place. I walk in randomly ask they if they have a sale on their ac check up ect since I heard a lot of places are doing free diagnostics. They said they had a 90.00 special to put the freon and charge your ac! Sick of being in the heat I agreed. I wait an hour or so and come back to check on it they tell me oh there was parts of your ac missing (relays) that we put freon in it but it won't work without those parts. Quoted me 200.00 and they couldn't guarantee anything. Then they said if that doesn't work it would cost me 1500 for a whole new ac thing. So instead of calling me and telling me these parts are missing thy cant do anything they still charged me the 90.00 for nothing. So with the print off they gave me of the 3 parts that were missing and the 200 quote I decided to quit wasting my money bout the 3 parts totaling 40.00 at autozone went to a mechanic on Oliver took him 3 sec to plug in relays and bam ice cold and he charged me 5.00. I was thinking it would be something huge to fix and bam there were seriously just a maker of plugging in something. Any mechanic could of looked at the ac box thing and could tell if parts were missing instead of charging me 100.00 just to tell me my ac won't work because of it. I'm glad i saved my 200.00 just wish I would of drive to someone who was doing a free diagnostics. From now on I'm going to wright automotive across from Mayberry he's honest and told me straight up what I needed and he only charged me for the product not labor for something tht took sec to fix. Of course I tip generously to someone honest. Anyways that was my first time and hopefully last time trying them out.
I have been going to All American Automotive for 27 years, I have only been treated with respect and honesty. When people say, your mechanic is your best friend, I am not exaggerating when I say I feel that way about All American Automotive. I purchased tires 20 plus times, they are always balanced and for a couple of dollars more I use nitrogen. I've had alignments and all the rest removed and replaced without a complaint, but with customer satisfaction: water pumps, belts, brakes, timing belt, tune ups, oil changes, shocks, struts, you name it. I must be the lucky one, because i have never had to bring anything back or go bad on me after I left the shop due to poor workmanship. All I have had is great quality service at a fair and reasonable price. I will always continue returning to All American Automotive, even if something would go wrong, it would not compare to all the times I have been treated so kindly and have my vehicle repaired properly.
I have been coming to this shop for about ten years now. I am one of those people who call around to get the best price. What I have learned in those ten years is no matter what price people give you really doesn't matter if the job is not done right. It's good to know that not only is job done right at NTB on West Street but the prices are better then most. I have taken Cars, trucks, and an suv to this shop. I also like to see that some of the employees are the same ten years later (Pat). Greg is my Chevy guy in the shop as well. I like to use Jose on break work calipers, pads, drums, and rotors. The manager up there is Wes. The great thing about this guy is his knowledge and his commitment to the customer. I strongly recommend this shop in Wichita Kansas on West Street. Happy customers come back. So I will be back especially to take advantage of the buy 2 get 2 tires free. 5 stars. Thank you all very much for the jobs you have done for me.
I bought new tires from NTB in November of 2014. When installed they did their free alignment check and stated that my car needed aligned. I ask them if it would wait until the first rotation and was told yes but no longer. Fast forward to 8/7/2015 and 10K miles more. I had been real busy and neglected both my oil change and rotation. I had started noticing a little vibration and pull to the right. When I went into the store they couldn’t believe the tech had told me I could wait on the alignment and it had ruined both front tires. With no questions asked the were willing to replace both tires for free on the road hazard if I would pay for alignment and balance and buy road hazard for the new tires. Then they discounted the alignment by 25% for my troubles. I highly recommend the Wichita store and the service manager. Great business with exultant customer service!
The first two visits were great. But on the second one they failed to fix a tire properly which lead me to thinking I had something stuck in my tire creating the slow leak. Unfortunatly hard times happen, and I had to just keep refilling the tire till I could afford to have it patched up. I had someone check it out and come to find Bosleys didn't set the tire correctly and hence the slow leak. I took it back and asked that they fix the issue they created for free or at a discount and instead I was met with disrespect, public humiliation, and a nasty sarcastic and degrading attitude. It seems as soon as they screw up they do not want to fix the issue. I have happily taken my hard earned money and loyal buisness elsewhere and can now understand all the bad reviews. Customers beware.
Bill and his stellar service men are a world class organization. Bill treats you respect, honesty, and always gives you options for repairs as far as what each type of repair will give you as a result of that service. I would never take my car anywhere else. He’s better than most of my doctors and I have MS. With Bill I am in totally control as far as the destiny of my vehicle is concerned. He asks before he repairs. That is so refreshing. I’d give him a million stars if possible. I’m disabled and raised two boys of my own and he kept all of us safety driving on the road at all times. I’ve never about my car breaking down. I was having problems with my Dodge Avenger and took it to another shop and they told me the repairs were going to be around $1,500!! The mechanic was so rude and I felt like he was just trying to take advantage of the fact that I am a woman and that I do not know a whole lot about cars. I decided to get a second opinion so I took it to The Clutch Guys. Thank God I did!! Turns out that the other shop was trying to scam me! The Clutch Guys diagnosed the actual problem and it was only $200! I was treated with kindness and respect and the owner took the time to show me exactly what the problem was and answered all my questions! It is so good to know that there are still some honest mechanics! I will be referring The Clutch Guys to all of my friends and family!
Just bought a new car and started to freak out when I started to feel a kick in my transmisson at 30-40 mph. I called autozone to see if they would check my transmisson out since they tested other car parts of mine. They said thy don't but recommend me to wright automotive by maple and west. So I go there and we drive my car instantly when it kicked he knew exactly what it was. Said it sounded like a weak transmission checked my transmisson fluid which was low. So he put some transmission fluid in and it started to slowly quit kicking. It's been 2 days now and my transmission quit kicking! Made me so happy to know he was honest and didn't try to sell me a new transmission! Hopefully won't have to but I'll continue to go there from now on.
I take my truck to Eric cause he s honest and can sometimes help you thru just a phone call I don't know what this Karin r guy is talkin about but I do know if he took his vehicle there when eric first opened his shop eric was the only mechanic there and had back orders to get done first which I'm sure he explained to this guy he has help now and is very good and very well priced and is very good at what he does before I met eric I took one of my old cars to a mechanic shop to have shocks replaced all the way around and was charged over 1500 just for parts and labor so if your not wanting to spend unneccesary money getting your vehicle fixed I highly recommend eric if you don't believe go to his shop on maple I bet you'll be surprised
I've be Central Automotive since they've been at their current location. The owner, Bill, is the best guy ever. He began working on my Mercury Grand Marquis which had an electric short in it. He couldn't find it so he took the time to weld any where a weld could be and that finally fixed this very expensive problem. At the time, I was a mom with two children and no money. Bill was there whenever I needed him. I haven't gone to another repair shop because he deserves the loyalty.
