I recently rented a car at the Wichita airport. Wow!!What a great group. I was especially impressed with the service I received from Mr. Nicholas Reif. I believe he is one of the managers here and he really went above and beyond to find me just the right vehicle. Even better, he upgraded me to a better choice when he realized that a pickup with AWD would serve my needs better, given the possibility of bad weather that rolled in that weekend (ice storm). Because my farm is in the country, this really meant a lot when the bad weather did arrive. This is a first class company and I will be back to use them again. I would encourage any of you to call the branch directly at 316-946-1895 and ask for Nicholas directly to serve your needs. They listen to their customers, and try to exceed your expectations. When I went to go pick up a car, they had no clean cars available; I had to wait a half an hour after I signed the contract for a clean vehicle to show up. Be sure that you bring a credit card (Even though you are allowed to pay with a debit card when you drop the car off). I had to pay for an extra driver fee and a young driver fee since my boyfriend, who was going to be the only driver, does not own a credit card, and the renter cannot be different from the lead driver. The vehicle was nice even though it was an SUV instead of a car like I asked for. When I returned the car, there were many fees that were not explained before I signed the contract, so my bill was 300 dollars more than the quoted price. They put an unnecessary $140 dollar drop fee on my bill that did not belong that the salesman caught after he swiped my card, soI had to wait a day for the fees to be changed on my back statement.
A current project has me in Hutchinson KS, every week since last June. Every time I am in Wichita but 1 I have rented from Enterprise. I have nothing bad to say about the folks at the Wichita airport Enterprise hub as they all have done exceptional by me. The service is great, when available I am always given an option with in my reserved car level as to what is available, and at times when available offered an upgrade. Awesome Job!! The only suggestion I would make is in regards to the Enterprise Plus points awarded per rental and the amount of points required for a free rental or upgrade.
From the reservation, to the estimated price at the counter, to the pick-up (free upgrade too), to the drop-off, and finally the final price ($40 lower than estimated), the customer service was second-to-none. The location is also convenient (right near the turnpike). The car was in great shape and was very pleasant/easy to drive. I will definitely use this Avis again if I need a car in the area again.Jay O
The customer service here was impeccable. The gave us a free upgrade and we got to choose from several cars. Return was a breeze and again the customer service impeccable. We paid exactly the amount on the reservation. I also believe that where you make the reservation matters. I use flatlandtravels.com exclusively. Always the best deals. I highly recommend this Enterprise dealer to everyone!
For a second time this year, I've dropped off a car before employees were on site only to receive an emailed statement including charges that were not correct, i.e. fuel service charge. It took a phone call directly to the location for resolution which they did. Wondering if this is a common practice? Be sure to check your bill against what was quoted when booking was made.
Just a really great company... twice this year I needed a rental car and both times the staff really went out of their way to make sure I was well taken care of. Their attention to detail, professionalism, respectful address (so important to me as a teacher)... I'm just very pleased to write a good review for this company, and I highly recommend their services.
My son had his flight cancelled and had to fly into Wichita. His flight didn't land till after midnight. He needed a rental car to get back home to Manhattan, which is over 120 miles away. Gage, the Enterprise employee stayed till after they closed so my son could get a car. A big THANK YOU to Gage!!!!! You went above a beyond....
My experience could have been better....NOT...I CAN ONLY COMMENT ON THE TEAMS IN WICHITA, LAS VEGAS, NASHVILLE COSTA MESA AND WESTMINSTER....ALL ARE 10'SWhat did i like about my Wichita Experience...everything...great people, great service...great car...and it rained the days i was there. nice knowing i was in a car i tursted.
We don't always rent cars but when we do it is from enterprise. This last trip I rented a small suv but when I got there they had none to found. So the upgraded me to a larger suv. It made the trip better. But that was not the first time that we have gotten better cars than we rented. Plus the people are fantasticly nice.
