Tonight, Popeye's had this ad up to "download their app for savings". They were pretty crowded, so I let a customer go in front of me, as I downloaded the app. I let another customer go in front of me while I looked at the coupons. I found the coupon, placed my order and it was all downhill from there. The employee screamed to the back to ask if that was a special that they'd honor. She said yes, with a coupon. He proceeds to attempt to ring the order up. But he couldn't find a button, so he screamed to the back again and Ms. Honey (yes, that's what he called her) came up to the counter. She asks for the coupon and I hand her my phone. She says, "oh this is a corporate coupon and we're a franchise so we don't honor those coupons." So immediately I'm thinking and saying, "then why are you winking and blinking the damn advertisement across the wall to download the app for savings if you won't even honor what's ON the app?" She said the franchise owner could choose which coupons he honors and that wasn't one. After some back and forth, she gave me a decent discount (with a STANK attitude, of course) and I went on my way. But not before several other customers came to my defense. I didn't need it but I did appreciate it. I'm so very tired of going in there and they forget this, or don't have that. Customer service is at an all-time low!!!
The Popeyes at 4232 w. Central are dishonest. On 12/15/17,My husband ordered a lg side of green beans to go with our 12 pc dinner as the sides are not big enough to feed a family of 4 and though we were charged 4.99 for the side, we did not receive it. There were of course no condiments or napkins with said meal but as they are complimentary anyway, we said nothing about that when I called the store to speak to the manager, asking only that the 4.99 for the green beans be removed from our debit card.He then tells me he is not authorized to do this and to Call store manager in the am. They do not answer their phone and so I reached no one till 4 pm the next day to find myself speaking to the same manager whom I spoke to the night before. This time he was rude and hung up on me.My husband informed me then that the manager was who put our order together so now it makes sense that he wasn’t helpful or polite. I called corporate who said they’d take note but informed me that it would be up to the store to refund me and that I would have to return in person to the store to collect said refund.... if they chose to give me one. Integrity is everything to me when choosing who I give my business to and I will Never Return to Popeyes again. Instead I will give my business to Chick Filet where the food is phenomenal and the service is outstanding.
Unhappy I ordered popcorn shrimp in drive thru I asked if sauce was in bag they said yes I get back to work and I have no sauce for my shrimp
As a first time customer, the young cashier got irritated at my questions, and then didnt bother looking at me or say a word to me when she handed me my order. The Food was good though.
Last three times I been there for lunch they got my order wrong,at least this last time I got my money back, last time I ever eat at North Broadway, food still good, service not so much...
