Me and my husband were there for 3 day's , really enjoyed our stay there , the people were really nice , treated us with repect , breakfast could of been alittle better , but was ok , and we wanted to stay for a weekly rate but was alittle out of our range . The bed was comfortable , and enjoyed the tv with lot's of movies on it , besides just basic tv chanels.When we are in the area again , we will be stopping by.Thank you for making our stay comfortable.

Major flea infestation and terrible customer service!

Stopped in the middle of the night after driving down from Michigan. My 2 small children and I were exhausted, so we pretty much walked in and laid down in bed. My husband went into the bathroom and came out a few minutes later asking me to turn the light on. When I did, I saw that there were 3 fleas on his arm. Once we turned all of the lights on, we noticed they were EVERYWHERE. We immediately got our kids out of bed, and back in the car (shaking off anything that went into the hotel). When my husband went down to the front desk to get our money back, the guy acted like it was no big deal. He even offered to show us another room. There's seriously no way they didn't know they had fleas. An infestation like that is glaringly obvious, even if you're only in there for a few minutes to clean!



After we were on the road for a bit, I looked down and noticed 2 of them on me. We ended up pulling over in a wet, chilly mall parking lot at 2:00 a.m. so we could strip everything off of the kids (and us!). Our 2 year old had over 20 fleas on her alone (including in her hair!) and had several bites on her back. We found more when we made it to Florida later that day (after driving straight through, since we didn't dare stop at another hotel- no need to spread the problem!). We even passed them on to our dog when we got home to Michigan. $40 in treatment products later, we're hoping they're gone!



Called the Day's Inn customer service number the same day of our stay. They said they'd look into it and be in contact. We received a letter in the mail a week later, saying they'd passed our information on to the franchisee and we'd be hearing from them. It has now been a month since our stay, and we haven't heard from them at all. Clearly they have *wonderful* customer service!
