The Hearing Doctors

I cannot adequately express how impressed I am with Dr. Sheri Billing's capabilities. As a former speech pathologist, I thought I was well informed on hearing disorders but I learned more (during the assessment of a family member) than I could possibly express in a review.
One important fact I will share is the importance of not delaying the hearing assessment if you suspect you or a family member has a loss. The connection between hearing loss and the potential for dementia was startling.

Dr. Billing explained the audiological assessment results, the importance of compensating for the loss with the appropriate amplification symptom in a way that was so supportive and easily understood. My family member's ability to transition to the use of hearing aids was seamless due to Dr. Billing's approach. I've already referred multiple friends to her practice!

"Can you hear me? Can you hear me now?" "You betcha!" Thanks to the fantastic staff at The Hearing Doctors, my mom can hear me and everything going on around her. Dr. Billing provided a hearing aid my mom can wear all day without it being noticed. Dr. Billing's knowledge of products, expertise, and compassion are unmeasurable. Not only has she changed life for my mom, several of my mom's friends are now patients of The Hearing Doctors and can hear us now! We are so grateful to the staff for making our experience so pleasant. The office is immaculate, the staff so kind and friendly. Thanks for making a difference in our lives and the lives of people around us!

My mom, father and Aunt go to the Hearing Doctors and my 100 year old grandmother did before she died. You are absolutely crazy if you DO NOT use the services of The Hearing Doctors. There is NO ONE in Chicago or the Chicago Suburbs more knowledgeable than Dr.. Billing. NO ONE who cares MORE for her patients. She goes above and beyond. Top notch audiologist is putting it mildly!!!!

I have been bringing my mom to Dr Billing for 5 years. She had been to several places for hearing aids and would never wear them. After going to the Hearing Doctors, my mom wears her hearing aids and doesn’t not want to wear them. She is thrilled that people don’t even see she is wearing them and they don’t make the noise that many of her friends hearing aids make. Dr Billing and her staff couldn’t be nicer and more patient. We have even recommended Dr Billing to several of her friends and they are thrilled with the Hearing Doctors. Their only regret- that they didn’t see Dr Billing sooner!

Highly recommend this practice and Dr. Billing. I went in with my husband. We both had very different issues. The equipment was state of the art and Dr. Billing was beyond professional.

do your self a favor and don't go, services are very limited. Staff is unprofessional and the doctor is not knowledgeable enough.

I have been hearing impaired for 30 years and have gone to various audiology centers for hearing tests and hearing aids. I guess you can say I'm a subject matter expert by now and know the difference between a good audiology experience and a great audiology experience. Dr. Sheri Billing has been my audiologist for the past 6 years and she will remain my audiologist the rest of my life as she has been my great audiology experience. If you have a family member who is resisting getting hearing aids, try to get them to see Dr. Billing. She has a way of making you feel comfortable and really takes the time necessary for a patient to adjust to the idea as well as adjust to the aids. Her office is state of the art and she engages you in the process of improving your hearing. The most difficult process for me when getting fitted for my hearing aids was trying to explain what I was or was not hearing to a person who could hear. Dr. Billing is not hearing impaired but it's uncanny how she knows how to communicate with those with a hearing loss.



I live in the far southwest suburbs, but it is worth the travel distance to see Dr. Billing in her Wheaton office. If you are looking for a great audiologist, I highly recommend Dr. Billing. Make that appointment now and start hearing the world the way it was meant to be heard.

Highly recommended coming from someone who has been with Sheri for 15 years. Great service who treats you like you are her only customer. Used to see her when she was downtown Chicago and I make the trip to her office in Wheaton from Chicago. Her office is definitely state of the art as well.
