They are discriminating. They bully you even with special needs kids. You don't blow up there phone to complain about Tom, Dick and Hairy but because others do and don't go get a life they decide to believe them yet threaten you, kick you out, and all. Yet drugs are going on downstairs, kids beat in other apts but only mine was running up 2 flights of stairs from a kid bullying him that even broke his glasses. They never repaired anything no matter what calls you made. Harvest Properties is a pathetic place to rent from. I will never rent from them never ever again!

I live in meadows of catalpa in Dayton, oh. I lived here circa 2010 and enjoyed my time here. Maintenance was always prompt and the people in the leasing office were reasonable and more importantly, KNOWLEDGABLE. I moved into a house for a period and home to take care of my mother. When I was ready for apartment living again I gravitated back to the Meadows of Catalpa. This time the office staff was completely different. There were no red flags immediately but it didn't take long. During the walk through after I got my keys I pointed out a few things including the grout in the tile being broken which they said they would fix. I moved in in December, cold obviously, on a Friday. On my first night I discovered my heat wasn't working because the gas service wasn't on even though it was suppose to be for three days as agreed upon during my lease signing. I had to purchase several space heaters to keep from freezing since when I called the gas company they couldn't come out until Monday.
The property named the cloisters in North Carolina is full of water roches and mold they would not admit that they have these issues. They also came in my apt without my knowledge.
Eagle's Landing of Washington owned by Harvest Properties is run by an immoral, unprofessional witch.Our rent check was returned and I immediately called the leasing office to inquire . I wanted to make sure that our rent had been paid for the month or if there were further steps I needed to take. The girl on the phone told me to, "wait", while she asked Bridgette F. -the property manager-, if our rent was paid. I heard Bridgette say." I'm looking in our computer, it is paid, she is fine, tell her not to worry." When the girl got back on the phone I had told her I had heard what Bridgette had said, but that I had called to dblouble check, becuase I couldn't afford to pay rent twice and I had other bills that needed my attention. The girl said it was paid and not to worry that if there was an error it wasen't on my end.Three and a half weeks later- Bridgette calls and tells me we owe not only this months rent but last months as well as late fees for the prior month. I told her that is why I had called and that she had said it was fine and for me not to worry, that if there was an error it was on their end! She replied," well it was true when you asked but it isn't now." THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE!I tried to explain to her that this is exactly what I didn't want to happen, that I had called her about it bringing the error to her attention in the begining of the prior month and that I would like her to work with me on a reasonable payment plan. She refused! Now she is evicting us because she expects me to pull $2000.00 out of thin air!
