Overall

Worst gas station in NJ. I've been there 3 times- but no more. The worker/owner was rude and incompetent each visit. On my third (and last) visit, there was a torrential rainstorm (5/31/15). After he put the gas in, he yelled I was ok to leave. He purposefully did not put my gas cap back. I discovered it after an hour of rain. I'm sure there is water in my tank based on the location of my gas cap. DO NOT GO TO THIS STATION.

Overall

Creepy, Lewd & Lecherous Worker/Owner at Westwood Gas Station: Having been a small business owner, I am aware of the effort people put into complaining and the dearth of praise. Today, I join the naysayers. Express Fuel Gas Station is opposite of Trader Joe's in Westwood, NJ on Irvington Street. Upon declaring my intention to complain to the owner, the attendant hesitated then claimed to be the owner. Despite my full faith in the claim that he is the owner, I proceeded to call attention to the quality of service and the rudeness of his behavior on this day. (On a previous occasion, my girlfriend and I found him to be rude and disrespectful. -- more to follow) My problem was one of inconvenience: I had to move my car twice due to physical pump problems. The second time I had to move the car, the attendant/owner still insisted on me turning my car off before he checked the pump's status. Irksome, but what are ya gonna do? It was then that I recalled the situation my girlfriend experienced a few weeks back... She dropped me off at Trader Joe's and she went to get gas -- two birds, one stone deal. As I was waiting for my car to be fueled, a young woman pulled up behind my car. Attendant/owner proceeded to leer at her. He dealt with me through the passenger car window although I was alone. With this young lady, he walked around to the driver's side window and kept gesturing for her to roll it down all the way. He leaned into the car and played hard of hearing. He turned his head so he he put his ear close to her and his eyes were angled downward. As the gasoline pumped, attendant/owner kept his eyes focussed on her despite his pretense to be staring blankly into space. He repositioned himself so he could maintain his gaze despite the pump clicking off in my car. Upon completing her transaction he ignored the now open passenger window and walked around to the driver's window. She only rolled it down a little bit as he got up on his tip toes to hand over her credit card and sales slip. He was still trying to ogle her. This is eerily similar to the story my girlfriend told me. She told a few of her co-workers and the women related similar stories. The men just thought he was indifferent at best and a "zombie" at worst but they didn't care because the gasoline is cheap. The women all said they will forego the cheap gas and would much rather purchase it from a decent upstanding person -- at least one that doesn't give them the creeps. Regardless of the details, they all agreed that the people who work at Express Fuel Gas Station made them feel quite uncomfortable and physically unsafe.
