Good Afternoon. I would like to share the most unfortunate customer services experience that I have ever received! I walked into the Westminster Maryland store to return a picture frame that I purchased as it was to small. There were a total of 3 people in the store. Lauren the customer services representative was working at the counter and helping a customer for 15 minutes, making sure that she got ever item rung up, helping the customer with the coupons and then pulling out her own phone to have the customer get additional coupons and savings from her own phone. I was extremely impressed as clearly my return would not be a problem and I would be getting the best customer service ever! She then had to use Food Lion bags to put the customer items in as they were out of bags. Now it was my turn as I had my picture frame in its original bag, with the receipt. She tried to ring up the return however there was a return error and she needed a manager. Lauren then announced that there was not a manager in the store. Now it is 20 minutes from the time I walked in. She then went to the back. She noticed that there was a manager on the floor after searching for her. However, the manager was busy with another costumer and it would be several minutes for her to be finished. Looking at my watch and realizing it was now 25 minutes. I explained that it is not worth my time to get my $12.60 back. Please donate my return to a Children's special needs charity.

This store is the reason I was reluctant to sew again. took me almost 10 mins to have fabric cut and the girl behind the table the whole time was complaining about how she did not like this or that about the store. I can understand that, but I just want my fabric and go home. After they finally got the fabric cut the scanner they had at the table did not work, took them another 5 mins to figure out they just turn it off and reboot it to get it to start again. check out was quick, since the girl at the register looked as if she was falling asleep from narcolepsy. I dont go to this place anylonger, I actually go down the street to JoMax for supplies except for specialty fabrics or even to Owings Mills Joann's, which is no better but atleast at that store the employees are not complaining and do the job quickly.
