Carroll County Swimming Pools

I had terrible customer service in their store a few years ago and I never went back. I hired them to open my pool and they installed the Polaris wall fitting on the wrong return line. No big deal, mistakes are made sometimes - but when I asked them to come out and fix it, they said i would have to wait 2-3 weeks because they were too busy. This is a two minute job and I don't live that far from their store, I just didn't have the part to change it and I didn't want to risk breaking the fitting, since I was new to being a pool owner. (and they didn't sell the adapter in their store, or i could have done it myself). I asked if they could just have someone come out to fix it sooner, especially since I already paid for their services which presumably was to open the pool correctly, but they wouldn't budge. Even worse, their tone turned quite rude really for no reason since my question was more than reasonable and I wasn't rude to them. Really I should have insisted/escalated and demanded that they fix this immediately, but I just left, found the adapter and changed the fitting myself. I've been going to a competitor for the last few years, and they have been great. Really the lesson for CCP should be that they wouldn't have lost hundreds of dollars in revenue (so far) if they would have just sent someone out to fix the issue AND be more professional about it - but in talking to others who have used their services, I don't think many in this company really cares.

Excellent Workmanship

I Needed a new liner for my in ground swimming pool. I checked with multiple pool stores and decided to contract Carroll County Swimming pools. After some problems, (which were corrected right away) the job was completed in a professional way. I am very satisfied with the workmanship and quality of Carroll County Pools

Spent over $100 on a list of parts for my pool and was given the wrong parts...when I tried to return them they said they couldn't return them...They were practically trash and they "didn't know what kind of pool I had"....if I could give negative stars they would have earned them for sure!!!! Will never go back there!!!

We bought our pool from them, they didn't have the liner on the install date, everything had to be rescheduled. This year, we had a hole in the liner, they repaired it, and said to get water in it. We got it in the next day 8000 gallons, just to have it flow right back out. $430 in water, and their response after the fact was "we don't guarantee patches." Thank god they don't do anything important, with that lack of accountability. I'm guessing they're former FEMA employees. We will never go back there.
