We went as part of an office luncheon. We spent 2 or so hours there and never felt rushed. The food was delicious! I recommend the cheesesteak egg roll appetizer. I had the chicken. Others had halibut, steak, and ribs. Everyone raved about the meal. We also tried desserts (cheesecake, flourless cake, and a cobbler).
Their food is always top notch! Wait staff is very friendly and helpful. Love their duck! Sit by the window next to Cahoon Creek and you can watch t…
This has been one of our favorite restaurants for several years. We save this restaurant, along with a few others, for special occasions. We made reservations for 5:30, on 09/19/17 stating this is for our anniversary, after the person on the phone asked if it was a special occasion. My husband received a voice mail message by the restaurant during the day to call them to confirm our reservation, ?! He confirmed that yes we would be keeping our reservation. Now we are not clear why we would have to do this. At 5:30 the restaurant was not busy. The bar was full, as usual. Arrived approximately 5:20 and were seated at our table. Normally the hostess wishes you a happy anniversary/birthday, etc. This didn't happen. Julie Ann came and took or drink order; wine & beer.My husband ordered Steak Christopher, which was very good, and I ordered the 16 oz Delmonico. My husband ordered the lobster bisque that has an up charge of $3.00 (we realized the up charge after receiving the bill) I ordered the house salad, which I love, with house dressing. My meal came with a side to choose from the menu. I chose the Cabin Mac and Cheese. It was explained this has an up charge of 9 dollars, but it came with 3 large shrimp on top. I was thinking for mac and cheese that's kind of pricey, but went with it anyway, wanting to try it. My husbands meal was very good, his medallions almost melted in your mouth! My Delmonico was cooked to perfection, but was not seasoned in the slightest, and not nearly as tender as my husbands, which I realize is a different cut of beef. But it was good none the less. Now the mac and cheese is certainly not worth the 9 dollar up charge, the shrimp were large, and blackened, but too salty! Asking if our food is ok after 3 minutes of receiving it is unacceptable. They need to wait until halfway thru the meal so if there is a complaint it can be given. Needless to say no well wishes and no complimentary desert. We will return but may try the bar area.
Great meal at a reasonable price. Granny should have brought a sweater, and why would one expect gluten free items at a steakhouse. Just because you are idiots doesn't give you the right to give misleading bad reviews based on your own stupidity.
My granddaughter, 4 year old great-grandson and I had dinner at the Westlake location on Thursday, September 22, 2016. It was the worst meal I ever had. The dining room was so cold we had to ask for the air conditioning to be turned up. It took more than 45 minutes for our food to come. My grandson kept asking where his food was. When we asked our server what the holdup was she seemed nonchalant and said she'd check. When the food finally came, the meat was cold and the potato had a sour taste. I will definitely not be returning!
I have celiac disease and ordered what I thought was a gluten free meal. I spoke to the manager regarding my food because the "flavor" didn't seem gluten free. The manager assured me my food and seasonings were most definitely gluten free. He was WRONG!! I have been sick and in pain since we left the resteraunt! we will NEVER go back!!
