By far the worst service I have EVER had! We have a leak in our pool. Howard's has been recommended to us by numerous people as being really good at their work on fiberglass pools. We called him to set up an appointment and right away, without even looking at the pool, he already made assumptions of what the problem was. No problem, except when he arrived to our house to work on the pool he did no other measures to attempt to determine where the leak was coming from. He just based his assumption off of his experiences in the past. He charged us $400 dollars to drain our pool (with cost $100 by itself) to pull our pool light out and put putty around the wiring. When asked if that would fix the problem, he did not know. He said if that is not it then it was the main drain or we will have to take the light out. Which he said he will charge another $400 to come out and put a patch on the light, PLUS another $400 to patch the main drain. Yet he was still unsure if these were the areas where the leaks were coming from. Against my judgement we already paid $400 for something that didn't work and he wants us to pay $800 more for something that MAY work, no thanks! He does not guarantee his work, nor does he really seem to care if there is a solution. My opinion leads that he cares more about taking your money and creating situations to have him keep coming back for more work.
Have been a customer for years and have generally had good service, but this summer has been terrible. The good techs have left and the people who replaced them are not up to par. Late, sloppy, rushed, and don't follow basic instructions. Repeat problems with service and repairs. Attempts to reach the company with any problem result in long delays.
Helpful service and generally have what you need in stock. Location is not very convenient, but there service techs are nice and prompt.
Randy has a good sense of humor, but the words themselves may be a rumor. Randy is witty and funny and clever, but intelligent never. Randy in the rythym likes inagadadavida and live on pizza and pita. Now if you want a pool man that likes the rythym, a little hard rock and clear water is the system. Yep, Randy is the man with a plan, He will keep the water clean and the system working mean. When he services the pool it will look good and cook good and it just can't do no wrong. Blue water in the morning and no luster will the water lack. It will bubble without trouble and when you finish for the day it will soon be calling you back. Yep, that is the kind of pool service you get from Randy.
I will NEVER do business with Memphis Pool ever again. We are new pool owners and contacted them to open it. They took off the safety cover and rolled it up without cleaning it. Now I have to pull it back out and clean it so it doesn't grow mold. I provided the shock...and they charged me for shock. They said they would add other chemicals to balance the water. A test the next day showed that they added absolutely nothing. I asked them to bring a skimmer cover and filter bag for the Polaris, which they did, and charged me almost three times what those items should have cost retail. The invoice said they vacuumed the pool, which they didn't. I asked them to clean the cartridge. I would have expected for $60 they would at least soak it in some kind of cleaner and degreaser. They just barely sprayed it with a hose and put it back in. I had to clean the filter again myself the next week. Their services are a RIP OFF! AVOID THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
This is the worst contractor I ever met: (1) when you call, they offer a low price and get the work, but ask your credit card info,(2): after done, they keep charge and upsale, no invoice no receipt! I called again and again , but they just kept lying !(3): you need to be fully concern the safety of your credit card information after do business with them!I feel so stupid to have called them!
I called this company couple of times requesting different services, but either nobody answer the phone or never heard anything from them back. Don't waste your time to call this company
If you are a pool idiot like me then this is the company for you. At 9 pm the other night, Shawn answered his cell phone at home to help my pump explosion problem. I would have lost all my water if he had chosen not to answer his phone after hours. This is typical as they have great problem solvers along with the routine weekly service. I have been a customer for 5 years and Cindy and the staff do a great job of addressing my needs promptly. I want to show up and enjoy my clean, fully functioning pool without the headeache. This is what they do for me and my family. Thanks for saving the day AGAIN
Best Pool Service In Town--No QuestionThe employees are expert at their profession and the office does everything they can to get your problems solved in a timely manner. I was selling my house and had several pool issues and they were just great to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
