We had a water pipe burst in our house. We had to strip everything down to the studs. From the owner, Chris Roussis to the crews to the customer service reps we spoke to on the phone, EVERYONE was amazing. Professional, but more importantly, understanding. It was an extremely stressful event for my family and they did everything in their power to relieve the stress. I could not recommend them more highly.

Not only did they do a great job cleaning up the water damage, cleaning up the entire house due to smoke, and cleaning all of our clothing, but they also performed all the repairs and dealt directly with the Insurance company for payment. My home in North Massapequa was devastated by a fire in November, 2012. We didn't know where to turn and what to do. THANK FULLY our insurance company recommended Total Restoration Inc. They came to our house the same day as the fire and did the emergency work right away. The next step was to rebuild the house so we could move back in and my kids could back to their normal lives. They offered me the option of performing all the repairs for the amount of money the insurance company alotted. i chose this option because i had no money to lay out. They immediately started laying money out for architects, permits, materials, etc My house was put back together in less than 5 months when the insurance company was estimating 6 months!! When it came time to pay, they accepted what the insurance company paid. What a god send!! i would definitely recommend Total Restoration Inc

They lie and are connected with insurance fraud. They will try to find out your insurance coverage limit & information from an insurance company worker before even coming to you if you call them with insurance. They have private information disclosed to them about you regarding your insurance coverage. They have people from insurance companies force customers to hire them & then overcharge you according to your limit. They are crooks and someone needs to stop this crap. I was forced to hire them a few months ago by my insurance agent, she told me they could not help me unless I hired them first. I later found out that this was a lie and that this was insurance fraud and I am not obligated to hire anyone! I just paid them their overcharged amount because I hate drama and dealing with this garbage. I'm a bit too nice...All I did was replace like 2 small walls and they did clean up a bit but they still somehow managed to almost hit my limit, I could have redone more than just 2 walls with the limit I had. They also seem to be doing the "hire illegals pay less" thing, which pisses me off because its a major reason why many americans can't find employment: because american companies are hiring cheaper labor elsewhere. I highly doubt they were even licensed...Anyway... I was fooled... it still bothers me how these crooks get off making so much money off innocent people. I should have fought it but who has the time and money for that? Stay away from Total Restoration Inc. They are scammers!

The fire cleanup crew mostlywomen was fantastic and they did a great job with my laundry and leather goods. That said i took on their contractor what a nightmare. It took him from oct 1, 2008 to 23 Mar 2009 and every step was a nightmare. This guy lied about most of the job he installed my backdoor upside down and inside out. Lied about putting glass doors on two of my cabinets as first requested. Burnt my bathroom countrtop who with the job now complete is not and will not be done. My ceiling fan he attempted to reconnect but did not have the parts so he put some makeshift screws in and it wobbled when i told him he claimed to not have any idea. This guy is sleezy and a great liar and with the stress of a fire you do not need the stress this band of thieves will give you. Look else where
