I have been going to Foundcare for 2 years. Never had a problem til it came to getting prescriptions filled. A new prescription took 2 weeks to get preauthorization to my insurance company after 5 phone calls. No one ever returned any of the phone calls. Had to keep calling the pharmacy and my insurance company to see if the script got authorized. Now I am out of my scrip for an under active thyroid and have just placed my 4th phone call to Foundcare. I called 2 days before the scrip ran out as my pharmacy told me they are getting no response to their requests for a refill. Have been 3 days without scrip and no one will return my phone call. I just had blood work done 2 months ago for this condition so doctor has updated readings. I can't even drive there to talk with anyone as I'm out of state staying with my elderly mother who is nearing her end of life. Maybe management ought to listen to voicemail to see how unresponsive their staff is or maybe they too just don't give a hoot either.

I have gone for years, but now on two occasions I was refused assistance, both events forcing me to seek higher top charges for what would have been a simple doctor visit and prescription. It was clear this service has fast become profit orientated. On both occassions medical staff was there but refused desperately needed medication that was not a controlled substance yet not having it could have cost me my life. Once, you shrug and go, we all make mistakes, second time, you perceive there is something dramatically wrong with the staff and facility itself. Not that they were required by law to provide those prescriptions but because they stonewall refused those prescriptions. There is absolutely no reasoning for such behavior and it endangers the public. Clean it up or hand the facility over to those who really care.

My visits became more and more frustrating. The medical staff inability to communicate effectively due to their strong Spanish accent left me frustrated. Having to ask over and over again to repeat themselves and still not understand places a barrier between the patient and the care provider. I say this because the medical staff seem just as frustrated having to repeat themselves so I stop asking questions and say yes to whatever is being said, and that is not good. While in the waiting area I realized every staff member walking by were that of a Spanish or Haitian race and so were the patients. Never once did I see a Caucasian or an African American patient. Its as if I was in another country.
Worse experience every! Doctor only prescribed a cough syrup with codeine knowing I have to drive and work in an office. On top of it I have a sinus infection and got nothing for that. Nothing but Spanish people in there. I'm Spanish but I can't stand Spanish doctors that didn't grow up in the USA.

I've been a patient since 2008, I was going to discontinue my visits until I was assigned to doctoe Bonaparte. She seemed to be awesome. However, the last 3 years, it's been very hard to get my blood pressure meds refilled. The pharmacy has been trying to contact the doctor to get my meds filled, but it's been almost a month since they've been trying to contact the doctor, via phone and fax. I called yesterday to get a partial refill, just enough to get me to August 6th, which is my appointment date. The guy that answered, he told me that my meds were going to be called in before 12:00 noon, before they close. That never happened! Earlier this week I called to find out why my meds weren't refilled, and why they weren't responding to the pharmacy, I was sent to voicemail. I called back the following day, they never answered the phone, they have caller ID, so they knew it was me. I left a message, I asked them to let me know if they just didn't want me as a patient, and an explaination as to why I was being treated the way that they are treating me, and to cpnfirm my appointment for the 6th so that I'll know not to waste my time coming there if I'm not expected to be there,or not wanted as a patient. I never got any response! I've never done anything to be treated this way, it's unfair, and it's unacceptable. The pharmacy said that it's always hard to get refills from doctor Bonapartes' patients, not just my scripts. That's really bad, and it's not fair to patients.
The scheduling department is not good. The office workers, most of them are rude and unprofessional. They start out being very nice, that's to get you of course. Mainly it's the nurses. They don't get back to you when you leave messages, it's always all of these random nurses, never the same nurse. They lie and say to call them if you need them, but won't answer neither respond. When you're already having health issues, you don't need anyone adding a burden, especially not the healthcare staff. Orders never come in on time, they don't keep up with visits neither medical supplies. They talk to adults like children, as if you are beneathe them. All they really care about is money, not the patient. When trying to set an appointment with the visiting physicians, which is a division of their company, I was told they would see what they could do, never setting a date for an appointment as most doctor's offices will do. I tried to hold out for as long as I could, giving them chance after chance, only to keep getting let down.
J J.11/05/2014EditWORST PLACE EVER!!! 8200 Okeechobee Blvd location I went in and said to the girl with the braces that I had been in a accident and am looking to see a regular doctor that I had made an appointment with. A snarl, stiff upper lip, bad attitude and had told her here is the paper work and she said she didnt need some of it then after I sit down she asked three times for me to go over to her after being in a acciedent first saying after I fill info out and then right away not after I filled out the paper work but over and over AGAIN in different tones, raising her voice and then lowering it again and again in front of people! She was disrespectful and gave a dismissive condescending tone started needling! I LEFT! 5 MINUTES, ARGUEMENTITIVE AND WORST PLACE EVER, READ THE PAST REVIEWS, THEY ARE ALL ACCURATE! NEVER HAVE DEALT WITH SUCH LOW PEOPLE IN A MEDICAL FACILITY EVER! TYPE "TOTAL MD" IN THE SEARCH AREA IN THE YELLOW PAGES AND YOU WILL SEE WHY THEY CHANGED THEIR NAME DUE TO SO MANY COMPLAINTS. REALIZE THIS IS NOT THEIR CURRENT NAME!
