Based on the price that was were charged I would caution against using this company. The technician came at 11 am diagnosed the problem, removed the damaged part, picked up and installed a new part by 1:15 Two hours and 15 min in total time. The initial charge was $575. I called when the tech was out picking up the part expressed concern and asked for an explanation for the high cost I was told there rate was $135 per hour and that travel time was going to be charged. Knowing it took five minutes to remove the damaged part I did not believe the replacement would take a great amount of time to install and requested an adjustment to the charge. Bob lowered the cost to $450 when I requested a reduction to $400 based on their rate of $135 per hour for 2 hours plus a $79 service call fee he state that the tech could just come back and reinstall the damaged part and we could find someone else. I should have taken him up on that the price and his attitude were very bad.
We are sorry that you feel that the cost to perform your repair was too high. We strive to provide fast professional service to our customers. We responded within 2 hours of your initial call and once it was determined your motor was bad, a price was given and approved by customer initials before our technician left to pick up the replacement motor. Your system was back running and cooling within 2 1/2 hours of our first arrival. The price was lowered in an effort to address your concerns over the initial price. Unfortunately with the many different manufacturers it is impossible to carry every part on our trucks, sometimes a portion of the repair time is spent picking up the correct part so we can get the customer cooling as quickly as possible.
