I purchased a wireless security system from GEOARM security. They shipped it to me at my house, once it arrived i had already scheduled a remote tech appointment and they walked me through the installatoin and were able to program the whole thing remotely. I thought I was buying new equipment, but apparently not. The cell card would not work and when it was returned they told me it was an older part and could not be refunded. 3 of 10 contacts do not work, they programmed in okay, but can show open at any time for no reason. It takes a week to get a phone appointment. I found a professional installer that told me he would not work with them because of terrible customer and technical service.
Definitely would never use them again.
If you have ever heard the saying you get what you pay for that is geo. Who do you call on Saturday when your system is beeping at you and you can't make it stop. You will need to leave a message and someone may call you back, but not for two days. I really hope you don't want your system monitored the day you call them to set up an account. It could take up to five business days for a technician to get it online. When i asked about registering my alarm system they told me that they handle that and that i don't need to worry about it, but after i asked if i could send them the $250 Bill for a potential false alarm he quickly asked me to hold so he could check with another technician. when he came back to the line he informed me that i would have to register my alarm system with the local jurisdiction. This was after he lied to me four or five times assuring me i had nothing to worry about. How can you have your technicians giving false information that could end up costing the consumer $250 per false alarm. If you want to under pay for sub par technicans, and only expect a problem with your alarm to occur between the hours of 9a.m. and 5p.m. Monday through Friday then Geo is for you. I recommend a smaller company. It may cost a bit more, but the same technician that sells you the system will be the one to install it, and service it. Wouldn't you rather know the person on the other end of the phone. I recommend calling 678-751-155 two if you are in the metro Atlanta area and want a good deal on an alarm. Geo Alarm is slowly trying to kill of the small time Alarm Business owner. Much like Wal-Mart did to the small Town Business owners.
I have been a customer of Geoarm for over 3 years now and NO complaints whatsoever. They quickly and effectively got my current system rolling. I just updated my system hardware and the Geoarm team has been wonderful. Cole in the sales department is friendly, patient and professional. As for the DIY, the systems are great and priced competitively. The system was also simple to set-up and Ralph in technical support was awesome. Definitely check Geoarm out!

I would certainly recomment GeoArm to anyone looking to good, quality, cheap alarm monitoring. I am currently renting a home that already had an alarm panel. GeoArm helped me PAINLESSLY set up the programming. Customer service is available Monday-Friday, and easy to get in contact with. I have had to leave messages before, and I have always gotten a callback. The monitoring is affordable, unlike most other companies, without lacking anything. I feel safe knowing GeoArm is protecting my home.
Great Alarm Monitoring, even better service. I just completed an installation of a very complex alarm system, a Vista-128BPT with 3 partitions and 90 zones. I chose GeoArm for central station monitoring and due to the complexity of the install chose to have the system programed by one of their technicians. Rafael Alvarez called me to program my system on time with a positive attitude. Rafael has a great personality amazing technical aptitude. He was patient explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He went on to program my system and turned the system over to me ready to go.. Very minor tweaks to have the system respond the way I wanted were needed. Rafael quickly responded by calling me like I asked. I explained my issues and in no time he resolved everything. I can't say enough good things about Rafael. Due to my experience with Rafael I will recommend GeoArm services to everyone.
Geoarm monitoring has done great justice with being my favorite amarm monitoring company for a few reason. One being the pricing is sooo affordable. two being the customer service being so excellent i truly enjoyed the ease of being a customer and let geoarm figure things out. It was good.
Setting my alarm up with these folks was a breeze. After my account as finalized in about 15 minutes and I hung up the phone, I wondered to myself why I paid much more than I should have for soo many years.

As with all of my home improvements, I always try and do-it-myself. However, home security hasn't been that easy to work with until I was introduced to GeoArm over 5 years ago. I have never had a price increase, never had to give my social security number, never had a credit check. I own my equipment and GeoArm monitors it at wholesale prices.
