This is a horrible company. First ya pay for ya rental, then when you go and pick it up, and pay for the collision ins, they still add a few hundred dollars more too your bill!!!!!!!!! RIP OFF RIP OFF NEVER AGAIN! GOING BACK TO ENTERPRISE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE AGREEING!Yes, I was tired after a long day of travelling. The 'virtual expert' was deceitful in the way the insurance was offered. I knew that I didn't need extra insurance as I checked with my agent before leaving.I had already registered and paid online weeks before arriving. The virtual agent asked if I wanted the basic or full insurance. Thinking the basic insurance was the included I said, 'basic'. I accepted the terms and thought I was simply accepting the original agreement and price.What was supposed to be $227 for the week ended up being more than double.The customer service was of no help in rectifying any of this because I had 'agreed' to it when I picked up the carAlso, the drop off location was not listed online and the location services on the phone didn't know where it was. I had to stop at the Avis car rental nearby to ask directions early in the morning the day of departure. You will probably need to take the shuttle even though there's a desk at the airport.Never again Thrifty!
Had a positive experience overall. Only problem it cost me about $29 per day for insurance to cover my $500 deductible, a bit of a ripoff, but it's my own fault for accepting it

First Of All Had A Trip Going To N.J. For Thanksgiving.... Picked Up The Mini Van Never Was Cleaned Out... Windows Dirty Food Stains All Over The Seats! Broke Down In N.J. The Van Was Halfed Serviced.... Battery Went Dead Had To Buy Jumping Cables To Jump The Van! Could Not turn The Van Off... Had To Ride All The Way Back To Wpb With The Van On! Road Trip From Hell...And You Want To Charge Me! I Dont Think So!! Calling Cooperate Office! For The Inconvenience And Suffering And Stress! With A New Born and a 3 Year Old and A 10 Year Old.... Really How Dare Enterprise!!. Will Not Start.... They Gave Me A Faulty Vechile! Press On The Gas The van Sputting Will Not Pick Up Speed..���� I'm Was Pissed.... Never Again Will I Rent From Enterprises!
Rental car was supposed to be non-smoking but there was a definite smell of cigarette smoke in the car. When I returned the car to Mercedes Benz of Palm Beach, I told the Enterprise desk person, Stephen (a very nice and competent fellow), about the smell (and a stain on the front passenger seat). He was most apologetic. When a non-smoking car is returned to an Enterprise site, immediate inspection should be made to determine whether someone had been smoking in it and appropriate monetary charges made. Hopefully by now the car has been aired out and the stain removed.
Horrible customer service, rude agents, dirty cars and don't believe the great rate at first because they will get you for more money guaranteed. This was my second time dealing with this company and will be the last.
My last 2 rentals had one thing in common....both cars were shamefully dirty. The second car had the gas tank on "reserve". Therefore, I had to go to the closest gas station and pump gas while standing in the rain.
The Avis Dealership at 6901 Okeechobee Blvd., in West Palm Beach is the Most Deceptive, Dishonest, and Most Poorly Managed of all Avis Locations in the Country!I returned the car on time, but the manager was busy in the back room of this disorganized and badly run rental location. The manager had to be summoned from the back room by a person who appeared to be her friend, or a customer, since the person waiting on a chair at the customer waiting area of the store, was not dressed in any Avis attire. After the manager finally appeared from the back, she spent so much time talking about the renewal of the rental, and typing for over 10 minutes on her computer, she said that the computer told her to swipe my credit card. After this she presented me with a bill including a $100 charge for an extra one hour for the rental, because after waiting for the manager to be summoned from the back, and after watching her type for about ten minutes, she said when she had finally finished with what appeared to be a well rehearsed and intentional delay of over 15 minutes, she said that since she finally was able to closed the contract after her intentional delay, the return of the car was then 3 minutes late. 1. The Manager intentionally delayed the car return process, to deceptively, and illegally charge a late fee of $100. 2. Before asking me for my credit card, she never mentioned that her delayed check out actions had caused my account to be charge a $100 penalty. 3. I learned of the penalty caused by the intentionally delayed actions of the Manager only after she had charged the $100 penalty for her intentionally slow and drawn out, check out procedures.An agent at the Avis "Customer Service" 800 Number, first said "Too Bad", then on a second call a different Avis agent agreed that the practices of the 6901 Okeechobee Blvd., in West Palm Beach, location were indeed deceptive, and he offered to split the illegal $100 penalty. I asked him "If a robber stole from your $100, and then offered you $50 if you would not tell the police, would you take the $50, and be satisfied with the robber's customer service? The Avis Rep at their so called "Customer Service Center" had no answer.
You get what you pay for! Horrible renting process. NEVER AGAIN!
