        I spent almost TEN MINUTES on the phone with the nicest woman who answered all my questions about my young pregnant dog/daughter in a professional and calm friendly manner, even though I sounded like a BUMBLING IDIOT! She made me feel comfortable. I WILL at least bring my two babies in once and do another review. But for now, I am OVER JOYED with my first experience! I am glad I called!

        Dr. Irby and his staff are top notch. It is am old school, taking time with your precious animal approach. He is a true gem, and animal lover! Obvious in the care he and his staff gives.

        we have been coming to these fine people with our dogs for several, several years. The vet techs, front desk and of course Dr.s Irby and Stevens are steller. They are very compassionate and just say good to us and our furry babies. We cannot say enough about the excellent care we have, and continue to receive here in west memphis. We live in downtown memphis, the drive is very easy, and the cost of the fine care is, to us, worth every dime, which is quite competitive and no where near as expensive as memphis vets.

        My dog was sick. I took him into this clinic and he died in the waiting room. I know after the fact that he was beyond saving but when he was dying on their waiting room floor I asked for help and the staff was rude and showed no compassion nor did they attempt to come into the waiting room to even see what was going on. When the doctor came out and called my name apparently unaware of what was going on, I was asked to bring my dead dog into a room. There was blood every where and they didn't offer assistance or offer to give me anything to pick him up with to avoid getting the rectal blood on myself. I had to make them get him. It was bad enough that I lost my pet but they made this emotional moment a very unpleasant memory with their behavior. I went to this clinic based on others saying how good it was. I can't speak for others experience but mine was horrible. The doctor was the only pleasant one but was not made aware by his staff what was going on so when he came out calling my name as if nothing was going on just poured salt into the wound. All I can say is he at least had the decency to not charge me an office visit.

        I have 2 Great Danes and several cats. Drs Irby and Stevens have Treated them all. since they were babies. Elvis is an 11 year old Great Dane. This is a huge age for a dane. They are thorough and very intensive on EVERY animal visit!

        Best Hospital in the area to take your pet when they are in trouble. Most caring Vets and Tech's I ever come in contact with. I have a cat and 2 dogs..a teacup, chicachu, and a boxer, Sheba! Wouldn't enter my mind to take them anywhere else! Barbara Brooks, Marion, AR
