This restaurant is tucked away next to the local westlake post office. Not a lot of people pay attention to it, but for those of us who know of it - we gotta get our fix. It's like a chocolate addiction but more intense. Seriously! The food is great. If your favorite is kung pao chicken, or ses…
2. Bistro 88
I can't believe I didnt know about Bistro 88 sooner! Once inside the doors of Bistro 88 you feel like you have been transported to another time. The art and decor is very relaxing! They have great sushi and great food and the service cannot be beat! The staff definately makes sure you are being …
Small and surprising. This place is in a shopping center by Target, and you wouldn't expect such great food by looking at the outside. The potstickers are glorious, obviously homemade. Try the vermicelli. You'll be glad you did. Best eggroll and rice in town!
I enjoy eating at Mandarin. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are amazingly low. I recommend the hot and sour soup. I have never tasted one similar to it. Their vegetable fried rice, kung pao chicken and sweet & sour chicken are very tasty. Mandarin is definitely …
12. Magic Wok
The food is very, very good and its all cheap. With nothing over 5.00, you can't beat it. It's great for ordering in, but if you're going to eat there, don't take your date there. Its a very small ugly building (Inside and out) and the service isn't so great when you work there. When ordering in…
13. Bamboo Garden
This lovely little chinese restaurant may not have a huge fancy bar or super elegant furnishings-but what is does have is the chinese food you crave late at night that just hits the spot. It is the familiar and it is freshly prepared and the portions are huge. Prices for lunch are outrageous-$5…
Head chef/owner Michael and his wife Joann have made this little gem of a restaurant a must visit establishment. This was the very first chinese restaurant my family ordered out from when we first moved to Austin back in 1990. We have been loyal patrons ever since. Tien Jin's is by no measure …
16. P.F. Chang's
201 San Jacinto BlvdAustin, TX 78701
One thing I like about PF Changs is that it doesnt matter if you go to one here or in another state the food is very consistent and the service is always excellent. If you are looking for a nice atmosphere to just relax and get a bite to eat then go here.
Love this place - been eating here for years...best crab puffs, grill salmon fish, sesame chicken and hot & sour soup..., It is a very neat and cozy place, especially, you can eat 20 items food with a very reasonable price . You also can order from menu and they also deliever food to your do…
18. China Express
I love this place. The food is great, but the decor leaves little to be desired. Its packed during lunch and my friends have started going after I introduced it to them. Definitely worth a try!
Peony Asian Cuisine serves some of the best food in Austin, hands down. No pretensions, just flavor After googling ""good Chinese delivery"" over and over again for months only to have mediocre and sometimes just strange food that even my bulldog wasn't interested in, we finally discovered Peo…
20. Bamboo Grill
i have been going here since they open everything has been good and fresh. The portions are large and the resteraunt is very clean. I have not had any food poison as per the other reviews. This resteraunt is very good will go back again and again.
this place is always packed on sunday for dim sum with a huge variety of people. those who know dimsum very well and people who have never had it. Its clean, freshly made, service is great but they will not seat you until your party is all there and the wait is usually 15-45 minutes. BUT ITS …
if you order online directly from their website its way cheaper than using grubhub only 1.25 I believe
I think this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Austin. Even my son - very picky in foods - likes to eat there. We (both me my husband, and my daughter) like Vietnamese Wrap -Grilled Shrimp Wrapped Around Sugarcane. We also love Catfish In Hot And Sour Soup, and Vietnamese shaking beef. The restaurant needs to make its living to stay in business, but the prices are not bad at all.
This place is super expensive the portion size was a joke and the quality of food terrible for how much they charged. I will never ever order from here again I totally feel taken advantage of. Way expensive for low quality and small portion.
Excellent food and very convenient. Being an Asian person myself, I found the food is comparable to some authentic Chinese restaurants in the big cites. Service is fast and courteous.
Went here because of the rating and I'm guessing they've gone downhill in a year. The place was almost empty which is a bad sign during lunchtime on a Saturday. The food was not hot, warm at best, and some things just didn't taste right. The lo-mein was dried out and stuck to the hotel pan it was in. The sauces were congealed on top. The egg drop soup had a thick skin on top of it. It's not the worst place I've been to but it wasn't anywhere close to good.
OMG. This was the worst experience ever. The management is horrible. When I arrived I first went to use the restroom and wash my hands. In 3 stales there was no toilet paper. Both napkins dispensers were empty as well. I got three plates and ate nothing on the plates. It was all nasty. They only thing I ate was the soup. When I went to tell the manager she went crazy. And just said call the police. I told her I had no problem paying for my food but as a customer I have the right to address my concerns. She told me to leave and she was calling the police. I left to go outside and wait on the police and this lady followed me, hit my husband and just seemed very threatening. Long story short even though she NEVER showed me my ticket, wouldn't let me pay, told me to leave, called the police on me. I was the one who ended up in hand cuffs and given a ticket for stealing. Very pitiful, I will be fighting this ticket.... oh and to top it all off I ended up in the emergency room with food poisoning. I started throwing up while I was there. But it never stopped over time and the painful cramping kicked in for both my husband and I. China harbor on Wm. Cannon in Austin Texas gets a big "0" (zero) stars for me. Save yourself a trip to the ER, court, pain, torture, embarrassment, and suffering.
I would give zero stars if possible. My entire family got food poisoning and the manager said that there is nothing wrong with his food! Go anywhere but there
I've been eating here for many years and will continue to for many more. The food and service are both always great.
I found a bug in my dinner and complained, their response was to ban me.I had been a loyal customer for years, not because the food was all that good or even priced right for what you get, but because they are close to me. Then last week I find a bug ( a little under the size of a dime) in my meal. I called them up to complain. Their response was to say I was "mistaken" and to send someone out to verify that there was in fact a bug and to take the food back. I was treated like I was trying to steal from them. The manager would not come to the phone to speak to me so the waiter had to act as a go between even though I could hear the manager in the background being very disrespectful and rude.Even though dinner for myself and my GF was ruined, they would only comp me 10.00 out of a 29.00 ticket. Yes my GF did not find a bug in her meal, but that doesn't mean she didn't have to dig around and worry about if there was one.Cut to today. I decided to give them a second chance, I place my order, they take my credit card information, and 15 minutes late I get a call back saying they will not deliver to me anymore.Long story short. They are incredibly rude and they obviously do not value the people who order from them. I feel they are not deserving of our money as consumers, you have been warned.
